Well, I played some Curveball today. It's been awhile...

Anyways I'm creeping up on Dicky's score. My new high is 33,775 points.

I noticed some changes on the high score podium. Sabby is missing about 20 titles and dropped to second place. Wanman moved up to first and Tenser finally made it onto the board. Looks like DDQ might have something planned.

Not at all. I was merely bored and decided to play in the arcade for a day or two.
I PM'd Sabby telling him I was going after his scores because at the time, he was in first.

As for Wanman, well he's been gunning for that top spot since he first joined. I'm glad he finally got the top spot he was aiming for. I'm happy that my boredom was able to assist him.roud:

Well, we do have plans, but nothing to do with the arcade. We're currently looking for a fitting replacement for Kraemer unless he returns first. But that's neither here nor there.

Congratulations to SirRags and the DDQ (I know there are others but those are the ones I can recall)for finally taking me off my throne on high. The pressures of being the top dog must have been getting to me. It goes to show when you ignore something for a while it slowly goes away. Enjoy it while you can gentlemen, because once tax season ends, gaming season begins.

(WOW, I had 70 titles, now I'm down to 39, 31 games, you guys were busy. I guess you can close the "Take sabby down" thread in the DDQ section now.:mrgreen

And you also have 38 scores now and i have 40, I already said in the Bugs thread that the leaderboard is a bit messed up as it stores the non high scores games still

I was only joking. I've always been Tenser's whipping boy, though. Ten are you still a little upset because I didn't go over "to the dark side" and join DDQ? I would hope you would be over that by now. I'm really not that bad a person, just ask people I talk with in my gmail account (Kong, Hobbes, BRODYMAN, tanc24, and ,oh yeah, my newest contact, wanman

).

I also deleted around 50 games from the High-Score NES category. I am not sure but I think this hurt StarKiller the most. They were mostly Japanese games and he seemed to have the most scores in those games.

Don't flatter yourself. Like I said, I only went after you because you were in first place.

Wan's in first now so I can reclaim a few titles from him next. I want my Abadox back and will not rest until I get it.

Edit: I was responsible for 13 titles of yours myself. Took me a whole three hours.

I think - but am not sure - that the @ru.com emaill addresses let you use google talk from the downloaded gmail talk application and from the ru email page but I don't think you can use them from the gmail web page. Does that make sense? Correct me if I am wrong.

Correction. I was wrong. RetroUprising email accounts and gmail accounts are interchangeable in google talk both in the application and web page.

I was going to go reclaim my Castlevania trophy from Kong today to only notice TheRaj has farmed it out so much that I couldn't come near his score even if I beat the game without farming.

Extremely lame. I hate farming because it ruins the fun of the game. I got mad Castlevania skills and I know I could wipe the floor with him in a fair contest too. :mad:

Have a look at Ninja Gadien and you will see a nice crop of scores as well.

Actually, there is another flash game of the same style that I feel I could get if I really tried. Maybe I will do that.

Well done to sabby getting first place back in the leaderboard, I haven't been getting any high scores recently unless it is a game of a week game. I will let sabby keep his place until someone beats one of his scores or i get a high score.
I would get my high scores from the game of the week.

I did not farm but there is a trick that makes it easy to get a high score. The game is not very good. It is a nice try to recreate Contra in Flash but nothing compared to the real thing.

No farming here. It is kinda lame though. I would prefer to play the other Contra games to this one.
