I use the 360 controller (the one with the cord), and it automatically installed the controller when I first plugged it in. What operating system do you use? I have had it work on XP, Vista, and Windows 7 equipped computers.

I don't know how to make the wireless 360 controller work (I have never been able to use mine on the PC). However, you might be able to use the charge plug to work in your computer. I don't have that type of charge, so I don't know.

I think shades is right. I think the wireless controller needs Xbox 360 Accessories Software v1.1
