Newbie needs answers!

Im new to this site and was just wondering if anyone could tell me if joysticks or controllers are possible to use on these games?.

I have finally found the game psychic 5 on here which is my all time favourate game, i have very fond memories of playing it in an old video shop donkeys years ago.. Im so chuft its on here , I have searched everywhere (Well at least i thought i'd had) for so long hoping it would be available to play online but could only ever find stills of the gameplay, I knew it was from jaleco 1987. Welll anyway im having alot of difficulty playing it with keyboard controls and i cant enjoy/play it like its supposed to played, Infact most of the games on here are proving very difficult with keys especially games that require special moves ie street fighter 2 and midnight resistance is virtually impossible to play (which is also one of my favs). Grrr

If Anyone is familiar with these games and think you can help me please do.

Just take any controller that uses USB (or is detected to be a controller, really)

To register your keys in Full mode, just mess around with the settings listed up at the top of the window. If you are using score mode, press "tab" and find your way to the input configuration.

Welcome to RU Lanny! I'm sure you will enjoy it here.

Assuming you have a controller that is recognized by Windows, when the game is up press the TAB key and you will get a menu where you can select to configure controls.

Just go into the controls menu and select the command you want to change, press the Enter key and then press the button or direction on your control pad you want to use instead. Repeat that for all commands and then you should be able to use your controller with the game.

Thankyou both very much, I will purchase a usb joystic and follow those instructions..

I am now experiencing a new problem Niether of those games i mentioned in my last post will load.. I keep getting an Error game did not load message everytime any idea why that is?.

Welcome to RU. I just wanna add that if you have a wired Xbox 360 controller it will plug in your PC and work without any additional steps.

Thankyou for that, That sounds like an easier option and less problematic too! Im now having new problems Loading any of the games so i need to find out why that is first nothing ever easy is it. lol
