Capcom teases new game "DD"

On a new website, Capcom has teased an image of a new video game, but we will
have to wait a week for what it will be. All it has is the silhouette of what seems to
be a dragon, which some are saying is either a Dungeons and Dragons game or
that it's a new Darkstalkers game.

Perhaps it's the shocker Capcom had planned a while back.

If you turn your brightness and gamma to a crazy level you can make a pretty clear outline of a dragon. (clawed toes and two massive wings while it's head is never revealed)

Capcom did a bunch of other Dungeons and Dragons games, so why not?

Double Dragon is owned by Technos Japan, not Capcom, so it's probably not that.
And the dragon artwork is a much different style than Double Dragon.

I'm guessing NOT Double Dragon.

That looks a lot like a gargoyle, one that might be on a quest of sorts. Now that would be a cool game to breath some life into.

Btw I know Double Dragon seems unlikely but I'm betting on the long shot. But it's not that unbelievable considering the DD and the dragon image.

Maybe it's a super secret backroom deal to blow the socks off all the aging Double Dragon fans? You gotta admit if it was real it would spark a lot of hype and expectations.

I have also seen some speculation that DD will be a Breath of Fire sequel. This to me actually seems the most likely scenario as Capcom actually owns the rights to it, as opposed to Double Dragon game.

If it weren't for the pic, I probably would've said that was an interesting possibility. Though not many people know about him anymore. Capcom did make a pretty good game of him.

@Zyborg...I promise you, DD or Dragon's Dogma is not a code word for Darkwing Duck.

But for what it is worth, I'm putting my money on a Breath of Fire sequel or reboot.

I've given up caring about Capcom's "new, shocking, totally not the same as our last game" games to be anything that close to resembles excited.
I've had enough SFII and enough Megaman {with all new bosses, and completely unchanged mechanics}. I've had enough stupid reboots {Resident Evil 4}, and enough characters redesigned to look like hipsters {Dante}.

Well, whatever, I hope it is good, whatever seven new bosses you get to fight as Megaman, or whatever seventeen new Ryu clones you get. I hope you enjoy having Dead Rising turned into a dating-sim and having Mike Haggar turned into an emo kid.

Of course, if it happens to be a new Rival Schools game, I'm there.
