I know Ten shut down the original "I'm in chat" thread but I think we need an alternative.

I'd really like it to be made public (at the users discretion) who is in chat.

I just think it could be better than it is, even though it's still cool.

It took me awhile to get into Chat, but once I did, I started liking it. I almost always have a Chat window open with whatever else I am doing on RU.

I was on a little last night but I had to bail early. People seemed to be enjoying themselves trying to play Tiger woods golf while drunk though.

Chat was a lot of fun last night. We had a good group of people on there and we all goofed around for at least an hour. I just hope my sense of humor when I'm drunk doesn't offend anyone. If so, I apologize.

I was looking back on this thread and realized I apologized for 'offending' people. Now that I think about it I wasn't worried about that at all. I was really apologizing in case I was annoying anyone.

That said, I'm probably going to be on chat later. I suggest we have another video game tournament. Best score wins bragging rights.

All good then! Just wanted to make sure I was up on "chat etiquette".

I remember DB and I laughing about the time when I told Cassidy that I was going to use his IP address and username to hunt him down in Canada. Starfox immediately logged out after that, prompting DB to point out that I'd scared the poor kid off. Hell, I'm STILL laughing about it.

With the way people get dropped randomly I think SFF just lost connection. He seems pretty cool and I doubt he'd fall for that. Maybe though, maybe.

I only chat with SJB, DN, SFF (the only ones I ever catch on there) and that's about it. It does lag a bit sometimes, but I think it's due to the server in my area being busy.

Chat is a nice little novelty, but it's most fun when you have a lot of people chatting at the same time. I can remember a couple of occasions when there were at least 6-8 regular members on there at the same time. It was quite entertaining.
