ArcadeOX Help

I can't download this for some reason. I've been PMing Tails and he told me to make a topic about this. I have all the requirements for ArcadeOX, but I can't download this file: "http://arcadeox.com/arcadeox1.1.xpi" My computer won't allow me to download ".xpi" files. Anyone have any other ideas? ???

No, I'll try Firefox now.

EDIT- It just crashes with Firefox...

Re: ArcadeOX Help

That file you are trying to download is only for Firefox 3.5.

For IE when you play a game the first time
You will see a yellow bar at top of the window
Click Install This Add-on from the yellow bar
A box will appear click Install
Restart Internet Explorer
Play game

For FF 3.6 which is what you have see this thread

Re: ArcadeOX Help

I use IE and everytime I click install this add-on from the yellow bar, IE freezes up, and crashes.
Same results for FF.

We used Team Viewer and got it fixed.

When you install a browser plugin in IE you have to click a yellow bar at the top of the page to give it permission. His problem was for some reason clicking that bar caused IE to crash preventing it from ever reaching the installer.

The link he had above was for manually installing in FF 3.5.9 which did not help.

Solution. We did a manual install for IE avoiding the automatic IE install process.
By downloading this file http://arcadeox.com/arcadeox.dll
And saving it to the root of the c drive.
And then pressing Windows + R to open a run prompt. Windows is the key to the left of the space bar that has a flag on it.
Then typing
regsvr32 c:\arcadeox.dll
And press Enter.
You can then delete arcadeox.dll.
