SFF's video is highly suspect for the reasons mentioned above and also that he's using a Wiimote. Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! was never released for the Wii or Wii-U virtual console, only Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream was. Licensing issues and all...

It's possible that he's hacked the Wii or Wuu to play that specific version of Punch-Out!!.

If he's actually doing it legit it's a much larger accomplishment than the AGDQ run you posted. Nearly everyone considers both version of Punch-Out!! practically unplayable on any TV that's not a CRT because of latency.

Why wouldn't you believe it? It's all repeated patterns, and the same fight every time. People play way more complex and precise stuff on piano, guitar, etc.. without looking all the time.

I remember a news story on a blind kid, probably 10 or so, who knew one of the Pokemon games inside out. Showed him going through the roster and telling us about them ect.

It would take a hell of a lot of practice, but I believe beating Punch-out!! blindfolded is totally doable, and actually less impressive then something like a perfect game in Pac-Man.

Because of how the video is set up. If you're gonna go for a trick like that you have to make sure we don't suspect a mirror or helper next to you off camera.

I agree he should have set up better, specially because his controller is not even in frame. But 1 thing makes me believe it is legit: You can see his forearm muscle that controls his left thumb twitch at the exact right moment for his dodges.

He mentions that he is using an emulator, and plans on doing it on a NES soon at the 32 minute mark.

I can't find the story I'm thinking of, this was probably 5-6 years ago... but I really don't remember. What I do remember is him or her, talking about memorizing the different sounds the Pokemon made so he knew who he was fighting and stuff.
