I just did an arcadeox run for a whopping 7k more. The dumb comes out when it "matters." Lose 2 guys on the easiest boss and then i get confused on 2-3.

Me and Wolfman are still debating about the following thing:

Seeding rounds:
The hi-scores of both team members are added up and the TOTAL team hi-score determines the team rank. With 26 teams the no. 1 ranked team gets 26 points etc... (see link for updated tournament standings)

The top 24 teams will qualify for the double elimination part. When your team member is not submitting a hi-score you will have a harder time to get a good ranking but with good individual hi-scores you will still have a very good chance qualifying for the double elimination part. So no problems here.

Double elimination part:
Based upon the team rankings after the seeding rounds the double elimination part will start. Two teams will go head to head to determine which team qualifies for the next elimination round.
When your team member is not submitting a hi-score you'll have a very hard chance qualifying for the next round. Presume you submit the best score of both teams but your team member hasn't submit a score, would it just be bad luck or should we work with an average score ? When choosing to use an average score it's not really fair to the team which members both submitted a score. What is fair to do in this scenario....?

I think a score is a score. If one person puts up 5m and his team mate 0. The other team collectively puts up 3 million. It would be IMO unfair that the 5m loses out due to an avg. Only true if team mate submits no score.

If that seems unfair then maybe have a weighted value of 1.25. If only one person posts a score they are docked 25% of their score.

Six is the last stage. You fight a big planet, which does nothing, although you'll probably die if you have no powerups.

Was too busy and totally missed Salamander, haha.

However, here is my first shot at Gradius/Nemesis:

Had some clutch uncharacteristic bullet hell dodges against the orbs and moai to make it here.

Gotta derust! I made it to Stage 3 Big Core and whiffed it.

(Regarding the question of forums, I guess I technically "come from Shmups Forum," but I'm pretty much a lurker most of the time.

Yes you can play on any of the listed sites. Which ever is the most convenient to you.
