Re: dead celebrities
RIP Jose Fernandez as well. He was the ace pitcher for the Miami Marlins, only 24 years old. Amazing talent, one of the best pitchers in the league and the dude always had a smile on his face. You could just tell he loved every second of playing. He died in a boating accident, I'm not exactly sure what the cause was, but it was late at night and him and two other passengers died when the boat crashed/flipped.
Sports loses a legend in Palmer and a potential legend in Fernandez.

What's with the trend I'm seeing of all these people talking about how what a great leader he was?

Re: dead celebrities
Fidel Castro? A great leader? That's like saying getting rid of twinkies was a good executive decision.

Cardiac problem. Like George Michael.
Zsa Zsa Gabor died a few days ago at the age of 100. We should all get 100.

Re: dead celebrities
This just in: Alan Thicke, Florence Henderson, Prince, Fidel Castro, Debbie Reynolds, and Carrie Fisher were more than just icons, they were legends. Although they passed away in the final months of the previous year, they will be remembered for generations to come. I, for one, have always recalled the history of those leaders/celebrities and many others. When I say "gone but not forgotten" , I emphasize on the "NOT FORGOTTEN".

Masaya Nakamura, founder of Namco died, he was 91. RIP. Now as a sign of respect, let's all bow our heads, stick a finger in our ear and wiggle it.

RIP Bill Paxton, the finest actor of his generation. Devastating. 61 yrs old, complications from surgery. He had surgery last year, too, I wonder what the underlying issues were?
