Re: dead celebrities
RIP Kimbo Slice.
Hmm...a boxer and a MMA fighter die in short succession. If it's true that these things go in threes, a wrestler might be next.

A wrestler is always next.
Apparently Kimbo had a heart attack. I'd guess steroid related. He was just 42 years old. He got into MMA so late in the game I kinda feel bad for him, like the UFC and Bellator threw a bunch of money at him along with the oppertunity to become a household name, and it was too much for him, he pushed too hard. He almost seems like a victim.
Aside from his tough guy persona, he was apparently a well liked and kind individual.
RIP Kimbo Slice.

Re: dead celebrities
Kimbo seemed like a cool guy outside the ring/backyard but I don't get why people are acting like we lost some great athlete. His backyard fights were so bad they're hard to watch and he embarrassed himself in the ring.

I haven't seen anyone say he was any good at fighting.

So bad they were hard to watch? How is someone beating the shit out of another person so bad they keep getting up and he keeps knocking them down hard to watch? I'm not denying he embarrassed himself in the ring -- terrible fighter once rules came into play, honestly, but he was great otherwise.

Re: dead celebrities
Admittedly I didn't watch all of them but the ones I did watch seemed one sided. His opponents looked big but didn't seem to have very good boxing skills. I'm not trying to disrespect him either I was just confused about people praising his fighting skills. He seemed like a pretty average fighter who had a strong chin.

TIL Gordie Howe had 41 points in his last year in the NHL at the age of 51!
I don't know a ton about the history of hockey but it's clear Howe is one of the legends. RIP.

Re: dead celebrities
I wholeheartedly agree. How many hall of famers can you name that played even after they were inducted in the Hall of Fame in the NHL?
*Edited:
Turns out i was wrong. Howe, Mario Lemieux, and Guy LaFleur all came out of retirement to play after their inductions.

From several online sources, it appears he's ok (stable)...they said he collapsed due to severe dehydration.

Apparently Anton Yelchin was found dead at the age of 27 pinned under or against his car. He played Chekov in the newer Star Trek movies

That's a damn long life for a dwarf, they normally have severe medical complications and don't normally live that long. This is coming from the man himself, Matt Roloff.
