And a grand total of 1 using the #gamergate hashtag. These are just trolls. They are targeting her for the sole reason that she makes a public fuss about being harassed. If she wanted it to stop she would stop publicizing it at every opurtunity, but she's not going to, why? Because it is her fuel, it is literally the only thing keeping her relevant. Believe me she does not want the harrasment to stop.

This is not GG doing this. GG is against all forms of harassment. Seriously, you need to stop listening to mainstream media on this. And how the hell do you blame something like "GamerGate" for anything? What's honestly stopping me from going on twitter and saying "I've got a bomb and am going to blow up Ubisoft Montreal #GamerGate" ? On that same note, what's to stop, say, Anita (first one I thought of) or a supporter of Anita from making a fake post with the hashtag and then going "Look at this abuse, can you believe these #GGers

" It's not about picking and choosing the bad ones and going LOOK AT ALL THESE MY SOGGY KNEE GAMERGATORS because that freaking stupid. Look at why a # was made and what it's supposed to represent, not a handful of idiots that use it for all the wrong reasons.

I support the idea of GG because everyone freaking knows that games "journalists" are corrupt and pocketed and it's nice to see them be called out for it.

Regardless of how people feel about her or what she supposedly did with that funding she has a right to speak and a right to her opinions. People need to just grow up and ignore her if they don't like her.

Also yeah I bet she doesn't want the harassment to stop. Any publicity is good publicity. These idiots are making her even more popular and more sympathetic. The funny thing is even if what she says is nonsense it still makes people talk about the obvious sexism in gaming. So either way the feminist movement gets what it wants. The haters can't win, they're just digging themselves deeper.

People all mad about L&O doing another "ripped from the headlines" is pretty funny. It's always eye roll worthy and very close to completely out of touch. The only plots that are worse are anything involving video games, so this is like a combo of fail. They're just trying to stay relevant because their core demographic is dead or dying.

PS4 MLB 14: The Show Online Support Ending in June - GameSpot

It's been out about a year or so and they're closing down the online already. We all know these sports games are intended to have a year life span but this attempt to force it is pretty sad. I don't play these games but I know they're popular. So it's not a matter of server population. It shouldn't be costing them much, if anything, to host servers for it if you factor in the price of the game and the fact that everyone playing is paying Sony monthly just to go online. So the only logical conclusion is that Sony decided it's time to make more money by any means necessary. The sad part is the core fanbase for sports games probably cares very little about shady video game business tactics and they'll be lining up to buy the next one on day one. Sony will feel justified in doing this more in the future and so will other devs.

Creating mods requires degrees of talent, skill, and time. If some of the modding community wants to sell their work instead of giving it away for free that's certainly understandable.

I don't approve of the way Valve is handling the implementation though. The fact that paid mods can use the content of free mods without any repercussion or compensation to the original creator is idiotic. Also the mod creator only getting 25% of the cut is ludicrously low.

It's absurd and frankly disgusting. There's ZERO quality control going on here, and nothing stopping some random guy from stealing someone's mod and throwing it up for 5 bucks.

I don't like it and I think it could kill one of the best parts of PC gaming, free modding. Imagine if we had to pay for all those MC mods we've been using? Pfft, I would still be playing 100% vanilla. I'm not some console peasant who pays whatever the master commands.

You don't feel modders have the right to ask to be compensated for their work? I'd like to believe I misread your post. I don't think you'd be so selfish and misguided as that.

Creators have the right to ask for payment when someone uses their creations. Its all well and good if someone wants to offer their services for free but the gaming community is truly disgusting if they ready their pitchforks over someone trying to sell their services. People have the right to earn a living, be paid for their time/talent/knowledge.
