Is this an example of what you are saying Jeckel?

Space Knights choose 3D Tetris but River City had the high score in the end therefor next time River City could not choose 3D Tetris. We would have to choose a game like Curveball which another team picked and kept.

We have had two team contests so far (3 if you count the Halloween one but I don't count it - the teams changed afterwards) and they were both very time consuming. I think the next team contest should be quick and easy.

I think a Tecmo Super Bowl contest would be good but I am not sure exactly how it would work. And I have an idea for a Punch-Out contest if anyone is interested in it.

Yes that is what I meant. A team can only pick from what the other teams had in the end. Also, a punch out contest sounds good.

Well, I was talking about the distant future. A team starting tomorrow would have no real disadvantage...numbers wise. But if we did get new slots for every contest victory, then in one, or two, or three years from now, we'd have 3 teams with 14 or so members. This would make it impossible for any new 5 or 6 member team to adequately compete.

I'm not sure we have the requisite numbers for a new team right now, and even if we did, I think people should step up and try to create their own new teams rather than splitting current teams, or actively recruiting new team leaders. Again this is way off in the future.

Not only that, but we still have room for three more contestants. Lets fill up those spaces first. After that we can start talking about a fourth team.

Also, I like the team contests but I don't think they should follow too close to each other. Lets keep them apart so they don't get too tedious. Also we can keep this mixed up. We've had an NES Marathon and a Capture the Flag. Lets set those aside and do something different next time.

Now come on Ten, one man does not make a team. I just happened to be the one to get the last flag. The fact that we were even in the sudden death was because of my team mates.

Although, having all your members are crucial. Speaking of which, hey Cos, where are ya?

OK. How about we schedule it for Friday, April 13 - Sabby would only miss the planning stage - and start the playing on Monday, April 16th and end it the following Friday.

My suggestions for new rules.
1. You can pick any High Score game. It does not mater if it has a score cap or not.
2. In the event of a tie in an individual game then the first team to get the score gets the badge - unless the first team is the team that chose the game in the first place.
3. Sudden death would work the same as last time.
4. You choose 5 games.

Flag one - a game that was a flag last time but the high score is not owned by your team.
Flag two - a Flash game.
Flag three - an NES game.
Flag four - a game that has not been a flag before.
Flag five - any high score game.

I'd like to see another contest, and if sabby's ok with the timeframe, so am I, but I'm not sure that another Capture the Flag is what we need. I think I'd personally prefer another marathon...or Hobbes and I have been working on something we might be able to have ready in the next 3 weeks...

Extensions are for six months. If the people need an extension, they can wait. Most of the time it's information they should have had to us. If they aren't going to rush, why should I?

Wrong Forum but i won't be on R.U on Monday and Tuesday, Becasue i am busy. I might come on Wednesday but i might be on Thursday. There will be entries for golf tournaments on Friday or Thursday and I'll be racking scores on the Game of the week on Thursday and Friday. Be back in 3 days.!!
