there is a difference between not watching mls or premier league now, and not watching it ever. i've watched soccer, mostly premier league, including champions cup and european cup, plus had an international perspective on it through international roommates. i've played organized soccer, high school, traveling clubs, and so on, and i do watch the world cup. so, my statement is based on my own observations, plus the observations of those who have much, much more exposure to soccer than we do. do international player flop? obsolutely, do american players flop with much less consistance? yes they do.

btw, the mls is pathetic. it has one legit world class player, donovan, and one over the hill has been, beckham.

That being said I think the whole men touching other mens asses is odd. Why is it only acceptable in sports? If the teams were coed this wouldn't be allowed, why is that? Because it would be considered sexual. Why it's suddenly not when it's two guys is beyond me.

If that's true then why is it ok when it's all guys? Isn't it possible to pat a girl on the butt and wish her a good game without it being sexual? I just don't get how people can be ok with it when it's sports but in any other situation it's questionable or offensive.
