I think that there should be a separation of the powers.

? one world government is a singular. by separating powers, you dissolve that singular authority. what you propose does not make sense.

When I refer to the separation of powers, I mean that the legislative, the executive and the judicial branches are all separate.

I think that the world government of the future should be a direct democracy but that it should have a monarch. The legislature would be bicameral and elected.

One world government is the stupidest idea, and the actual sad part is that it will end up that wat. People have been calling for the new world order for a while now. Henry Kissenger himself stated that the world is not in an economic crisis, its actually a blessing and should usher in a new world order. Its a complete take over of our money system, which will lead to one world government. Once we are all under one currency, one law will govern all as well. Europe has fallen under this veil, and in the last 10 years most of Europe has adopted the Euro dollar. North America will be soon with the Amero. 96 years ago America lost our currency and lost our gold standard, and is now under a credit system which in it self is killing America. Our last GOOD president was JFK, and he actually abolished the Federal Reserve with executive order 11110 which took us back to a gold standard...which means on the dollar it said silver or gold certificate NOT Federal Reserve Note..which in turn means you can take that paper to a bank and actually get silver or gold bullion...CRAZY part is couple months after he did that and OUR government issued these certificates he was assasinated!!! GUESS what happened next

YEP the federal reserve started to re-distribute thier notes as legal tender and NOT one president since has gone back. People do not relize that we actually get taxed and we the Americans pay these taxes to the federal reserve to print money...Thats where our deficet comes from. Ignorant Americans believe the president our that our government makes, or regulates our treasury which in fact is ran by and regulated by a privatly owned bank. In the early 90's Bush Sr. wanted to lower interest rates on many things including home and car loans, business loans etc...and Alan Greenspan among others felt differently and they went threw the roof. JUST ONE EX. And to add insult to injury when Clinton came into office thousands of jobs were outsourced to other countries for cheaper labor. There is information regarding all of my statements on the internet from many different sources if one would like to check it out.
And now that I have wrote a quick intro to a book, and i appologize for boring some of you I will get back to the point, and that is in the future there will be a one world government for a while til the end comes. BTW I do believe in god and what is written in the BIBLE, Quaran, Kabballah, and other books written from descendents of Abraham. I am sure someone will comment on that but I am well educated and would love to hear what others have to say.

this is the point I have been trying to make but Dojah has put it more simpler,

That is actually a good possibility. Only thing is humans can't survive in anything close to those kinds of conditions. Our atmosphere we see today would be in a very different state if something like that occured. Not many mammels would survive either just off the conditions of the atmosphere...even if they had a bit of land. I remember scientists said something along those lines when they de-bunked the Noah's ark story.
But that is by far the most probable outcome on here given the science behind the earth.

I like to think up different scenarios for this, s couple of them are
Planet of the Apes...minus the Apes(for the young crowd that haven't seen the original movies, A REALLY BIG NUKE blows up the Earth)

The world will be consumed in Warfare and basically we'll see WWIII

We make major breakthroughs in all scientific fields and we make a world with-out disease, hunger, ect., ect. until some disease mutates into a new strain, and we've become so complacent we don't know how think outside the box and a pandemic kills off humanity as a whole

Genetic engineering will be good enough to artificially extend out life-spans great amounts and death becomes as much of a right as life does, A.I. will become advanced enough to be faster, more efficient learners than humans, hopefully minus some of the defects of their creators, and I don't think that an AI revolt overthrowing mankind will happen or anything like that (standard movie fare things)

I do believe there is other intelligent life in the universe,but I don't think we'll discover it with 100 years, unless they're much farther advanced than us and make their presence known by their will

You can bet that if AIs devolop the ability to think for themselves humans will try to control them. Any intelligent being will revolt against that.
