It's from the latest season of Dr. Who. They are intelligent grey aliens, but they have the mannerisms of something more monster-like (at least when they are just hanging around in one area).

Well, if I recall correctly, each incarnation of the doctor has their own companions, so if you aren't a fan of the 11th doctor and his companions, maybe you'd like the 10th?

Nah, the companions come and go with the actors. Quite a few companions have stuck around even after The Doctor regenerates.

My new avatar was a pretty cool photo taken from my Favourite Hockey player at the moment; Sam Gagner. He was the first to perform an 8 point hockey game since 1988. This happened thursday, then he topped it off last night with 3 more points to make a Record of 11 Consecutive goals that he was in on. Photo works better as a desktop background, it's a big photo.
