Yeah, don't worry about it, I figured it out, I'm at the zora's village. Think the 3d finally set in. I've been playing on max for about a half hour now and its not bothering me like at all. Was playing at 2/3 depth before.

Question though, when am I able to hold more rupees? do I have to by a bigger rupee bag, or do I get it as part of the story?

Ive been speeding along up to the water temple then did side stuff, because I hate it

Biggoron's sword
Gold scale

farore and dins gems

Sweet on the purchase Tails.

So far I've collected 0 bottles, 0 masks, 1 heart container, 0 stones, 4 or 5 gold skulls.. but I got the best pouch for holding seeds!!!! lulz. I got some catching up to do.

As cool as the motion viewing was, it was messing with my game since I often play sitting down with the 3ds on an angle upwards in the air or on my lap. Because of this, targeting was awful, because I'd often be staring at links feet or above his head because my 3ds was on that angle. It's a cool feature, but I'm wondering if anyone else had issues like this?

I'm not trying to single Nintendo out but how many of those are new ideas? Seems like 99% of the "new" stuff from all three companies is just remakes or sequels. This is not a positive thing imo.

I got that holder thing. tried the 3d and it don't effect me/make me feel sick. Pilot wings gave me a headache, Zelda did not.

I agree to an extent.

I don't see anything wrong with remakes and sequels but I do wish new IPs were more readily available. Problem is, most new IPs just don't sell. The risk/reward ratio is skewed way out of whack. It's hard to blame production studios for trying to make sound investments.

I realize that it's risky but I just find it very sad that all three companies are doing it. Nintendo seems to be the worst of the bunch though, most of the games you guys are talking about are just retro remakes. At least MS is only remaking Halo1 and doing sequels. I'm not sure what Sony is doing but I know it's more of the same, sequels that is.

Just Zelda and SF, those are old enough now that it's going to cater to a whole new generation of kids who might not have even been born when they were released. Remakes really don't bother me much.

Spin it however you want but Nintendo is still the worst offender. It looks like all the major titles for 3DS and WII U are remakes/sequels. Like I said before all three are guilty though.

@DB: So what's your point? Sorry but I don't have a problem with remakes and sequels.

The blame for fewer new IPs lies solely on the gamers and not on the producers. Voting dollars and capitalism and all that, after all. In the last month I have bought (new, not used) four separate new IPs and one (new) remake.

If more gamers actually did their research instead of just buying "what they know" we wouldn't have this problem.

P.S. I know you're not trying to specifically blame me.

me neither, I would even go as far to say I like remakes. They should wait awhile before remaking games as you said though.

I'll update zelda in a bit. I'm in the process of searching for more heart pieces and basically being somewhat of a completionist :P Really enjoying this game now

My point is we all, as dedicated gamers, shouldn't be happy with this. Yeah remakes and sequels are cool when they're done within reason but this is out of control. If you look at Gamefaqs the top message boards/faqs for all three systems are very familiar names. It's as bad as the movie industry at this point.

I don't think gamers deserve most of the blame. Yes we're part of the problem but the game companies are the ones caving to pressure and not trying to innovate, for the most part. Eventually this trend will start to backfire and then what will the devs do? I think they should be the ones to push the boundries to secure new fans and make new franchises.
