Re: dead celebrities
Yeah I was wondering how this would be posted here and I tend to agree. I don't wish him ill will or wish he was in hell but I don't feel bad either. Once your dead none of this matters anyways. At least he didn't directly hurt anyone, as far as we know.
My local paper was full of people condemning him to hell and other such nonsense. People were telling him to say hello to Ted Kennedy, because they're mostly a bunch of ignorant conservatives.

R.I.P. Robert Hegyes

I used think Welcome Back Kotter was so cool, I don't remember much other than thinking it was cool though, that and lately I've been calling my wifes toes "sweat hogs".

I didn't watch it much but he was an icon. I feel bad he went that way but maybe he had a good reason.

Maybe he was diagnosed with something terminal and wanted to end it while he was still able to. I know I wouldn't like to live my last days as a sickly old man on a hospital bed waiting for my death.

Re: dead celebrities
Man Don Cornelius was an Icon and for lack of a better term the black Dick Clark.
I loved watching him grow up and never missed an episode of Soul Train on the weekends when it came on. It was one of the few places where I could see soul music and R n B on TV.
RIP Mr Cornelius. Thanks for all the memories. Im sad to see you go this way but Im glad you shared you lifes passion with us.

I'd say that's an apt way of describing him.

I don't know what "apt" means in canadian, I was going with the English definition of "Appropriate or suitable in the circumstances."

"With that society you can never be 100% sure, but we just don't see any evidence of it," the official told CNN. "It's a closed society, but at this point we do not believe it's true."The preliminary analysis of the rumor suggests it is part of a "calculated effort to disrupt the economy of South Korea at a fragile time by suggesting things are going haywire up north," the official said.
Meanwhile, the official added, "there is no evidence of movement of North Korean forces or activity that you would associated with the turmoil of a calculated assassination."

Could be true but doubtful. Chinese Twitter isn't exactly the best place to get your news from.
