video game quirks - Page 3

That stuff is annoying but the game need something to make it feel more like a game. Without routine crap you'd get bored fast in that relatively small map. Unless you're one of those weirdos who really likes sending letters to your animal neighbors.

I love Animal crossing but it is kind of a boring game to play for any real amount of time. My towns are always covered in weeds and my neighbors be hatin.

When you have to backtrack throuth the entire level just to go around crystal switch blocks just to push a block. (Ice palace in ALttP)

In the first one, at least you could collect NES games.

Yeah, I had all the games plus all the "hidden" ones like Punch Out. I had to have some guy generate a code though using my town and character name but it was cool to get that in the mail. I also like how the games had the ability to save high scores.

I know, but it always seems like every game has one and it's always incredibly easy. you have two switches and a rock. Dhhhhr, what do you do? You'll never think to put the rock on the switch. Which reminds me.

Japanese games where most of the text is in Japanese, but some text is in english and in some other games, a voice in the game speaks English. Never got why Japanese games were like that.
