@ Cam, I know what you mean: it's pretty cool having siblings who are into the same things that you can game with. My brother and one of my sisters (who, incidentally, just recently started getting into RU more. I bet some people could guess who it is pretty easily.) have often played together, and it's lots of fun. We used to play everything from sports, to action, to wrestling, to RPG's together. If we wanted to beat a one player game together, we would each take turns passing the controller back and forth and keep a running 10-20 minute timer going. When the timer would beep, it would be the next person's turn.

The rest of the family plays too, but more on their own. Sometimes we do play some games together, though.

@ Yasly, in retrospect, this topic should have been called Siblings, but when it was created the testosterone/estrogen balance was not where it is today. It's still mostly guys, but back then Sez was pretty much the only girl active on RU. Now, in addition to Sez, we have you, your sis, Lunaangelrose, Bluej, and a few more (like Tails. Sorry amigo couldn't resist.

). I'm glad to see more ladies getting involved now.

BTW, great Hellboy, Selma Blair in this case, avatars. Very cool!

I would guess Luna is your sister WB, but I already asked your bro how you knew her and he said you both just met her here.

Edit: @ WB, are you the youngest? because I can't count how many times my brothers and occasionally my sister played tricks on me when I was little...

I am the youngest Cam. Growing up in my family was a little different, though. We grew up traveling all around together (doing our entertainment thing), so we were kind of all more like partners in a way. We were more or less small adults, but we had a lot of fun.

Sadly, not too many tricks were played, though. Did you get the brunt of the tricks since you are the youngest in your family?

No problem. I really enjoyed the Hellboy films (and comics too).

I was always a big fan of the Savage Dragon comics as well, so I would have a lot of fun when Hellboy and The Dragon would team up in stories.

my prediction, the bagel family is actually a family of midget clowns who traveled with the circus and did that clown car routine.

How did you know Jim? For a long time we were known as the Flying Bagel Bunch, and we would saunter across the land in the bagel bus meeting people and having adventures (like Cain from Kung-Fu, MacGyver, or RU's own Kong).

Later on we decided to diversify, and added 3 gerbils, 2 mules, and 1 elephant. I would tell you what part they played, but I can't say it in the general section. Suffice it to say that after we added them to our act they started calling us The Aristocrats.

Ive got to other brothers and a sister that love gaming. I told them about this site but none of them have a reliable computer at the moment. Once thats corrected you might see a Smittycal fraction start on RU lol....

@ Begal..Im from a house of perfomers as well. Ive been on stage with my family most of my life. We had a family band and perfomed @ churches all around Kansas and Missouri. We wanted to do more with it but life kind of got in the way and it just kind of fell apart. After that I just focused on Kareoke bars and just getting together with my family on holidays to sing the songs we used to sing together!

Did you guys have some kind of group like that or do theater? Ive been in a few plays/musicals myself. I dont think Im that great but I had fun doing it and entertaining people.

That's awesome that you come from performers too. Yeah, life does have a way of kind of messing things up sometimes. Even in my family, many of us are kind of doing separate things anymore because it's really tough to get all 6-7 of us together schedule wise.

I think it's also fun that at least 5/8 of us in EC are musicians. Pretty cool!

My sister performs professionally, well almost, shes driven by our cousin who is with "Carnival Entertainment" and works on cruise ships, my sister will probably end up doing the same thing. the rest of my family off my moms side, has always besn great at bassball, we all usually play it(just Sean, Gramps & I now and cousins, uncles, etc.) baseball is big in our families, down where I live, it's different versions though(Slo-pitch & fastball).

I'm dang good if I say so myself, 10 years of baseball as of this year!

I'm the fastest baserunner, Shortstop and outfield expert, I also pitch which is dang hard, barely anyone can do it, it's so complicated.

WB: i have 2 brothers, neither of whom are on this site. also, in my family, we have the makings of a band to an extent. my older brother plays guitar and piano, dad pretty much the same, me with piano, sexyphone (

) and clarinet. although both me and my dad can just pick up an instrument and play a tune - its excellent!

btw, I didn't know you guys actually nicknamed yourself "The Bagel Bunch" I just started using "Bagel Bros" when I came up with the "Everyone Vs. the bagel bros" thread. Had no clue it was terminoligy you actually used.

The Bagel Bunch was something Gamenguru came up with as a spin-off name of the Bagel Bros that you came up with. We really like the Bagel Bros name, and you can still refer to the two of us that way. It's kind of like when it was Mario and Luigi it was the Mario Bros, but then when the whole gang got involved it became Mario Party.
