I don't usually check threads I have no interest in such as the Ikariam thread. That being said, if something happens that requires mod attention please don't hesitate to send Sabby and I a PM.

I am almost always on this site every 30 mins or so while at work. I work 6pm to 6am EST Fri-Wed so it should be resolved then.

Sabby can take care of anything during the day time.

Kong has said this over and over again. Do not try to address problems yourself, that's what Sabby and I are here for. Thank you.

there really is nothing to discuss we all do the wrong thing when someone is being annoying we tell them to stop or sent them pms saying stop being a dillweed (*Stares at Tenser*) and the point Tenser is trying to make is dont sent the PM to Person A saying Your a Dillweed so stop send that PM to Tenser or Sabby or Kong and say this person is being a Dillweed can you talk to him please oh mighty god Tenser or Sabby or Kong.

And just to repeat what the rules say, do not try and police the site. Kong has created this wonderful site for all of us to enjoy. He has given authority to the mods to do the policing so he can improve this already awesome site.

Just kidding. To answer your question, I believe actual "dillweed" is a type of spice and/or herb used for adding flavor when cooking certain types of foods. The conotation that Oasis was using it in was an insult directed towards somebody. Basically, it's a PG bad name.

Not exactly sure what you're asking? But I will give you an example of why it's in there:

A new member comes in and makes a comment about it being to much to ask to say hello to him when he joined the site and how rude it is. One of the esteemed moderators says that it is too much to ask and leaves it at that. The new member may find that more rude and offensive and start spamming or trolling the forum over the incident (being overly sensitive about what happened). Members who have been on the site for more than a week would take it as the "Moderator being moderator" and get a quick laugh but know that it was the moderator's "charm" that was being displayed. That's why the rule is in print on the page.

A few things:

On the first point - the one's that find offense on their first few days were probably not going to stay anyway.

On your second point - The rule you speak of has been here since I signed up over two years ago.

And another point - You're breaking a different rule by typing in excessive caps (which has also been a long standing rule).

Now that that's hopefully been explained, we can move on to more pertinent items.

Not a problem. I know I'm harsh and unrelenting with the ban hammer at EVG. But to be fair, there's a lot more little punks over there as well.
