Re: SNES recommendations
concerning the SNES final fantasy game...there are 2 FF games for the SNES. Final Fantasy IV (renamed FFII in the states) and Final Fantasy VI (renamed Final Fantasy III) FFVI is probably the one you are thinking about as it was the more popular of the two. FFIV is still pretty good though.

Re: SNES recommendations
scores will be from oh about 1-20 if that's good enough and believe me its' hard to get more than 1 for beginners me I"ve gotten 8, and it's very time consuming the more people you have because they don't follow at the same time, they take turns and some of them kill themselves so you have to be there to save them ALWAYS
so scores should be enabled and also snes reccomended games are:
theme park
jurassic park II the chaos continues
wolfenstein 3-d ( you will be looking at the champion right here)
I can't wait for snes and if possible kong should look into getting saturn on here ;D
my saturn suggestions would be:
theme park
command and conquer
if he get's saturn.

of all of those games, with the exception of jurassic park, they were all better on the pc...way better. gotta love that heavily censored wolfenstein.

absolutely correct...will it be possible one day, likely, but that will be a long ways off for java to have the ability to run graphics of that caliber

all I'm saying is that some saturn games have terrible graphics that could manage to be on this site in a year or two.

It's not a game by game basis. Well, it kind of is in the sense that some games don't work and some do, but not the way you are saying it.

I think it's safe to say California Games is better than Mystic Quest. I'm sure most people would agree.
Btw I played Mystic Quest all the way through when it came out. It was too easy and had nothing special about it. Not the worst game ever made but not worth someones time unless they want to play Final Fantasy lite.

From a guy who can't place his mindset within the timeframe of E.T.'s release to admit that it was one of the top two games for that system. The other is Adventure, by the way.

Not exactly. More like flawed point, just because a few Saturn games could potentially be handled doesn't mean the system would be added.

Re: SNES recommendations
Actually now that I think about it, I think last time I checked the Saturn was one of the systems that was really hard to emulate well for some reason. I think even offline emulators aren't so great for the Saturn. Then again the last time I checked was probably a year ago.

Re: SNES recommendations
You gotta think though, if it hasn't been emulated yet, it probably won't be any time soon. Demand just isn't too high.
