Re: Netflix

Yeah, I'm probably going to drop the DVD part soon...I'm down to about 8 or 9 movies in my queue...seems like I've seen everything else.

Re: Netflix

I recommend you watch, The Good, the Bad, the Weird. It's an Eastern Western from Korea (the friendly side).

Re: Netflix

Yeah, I've been making the lady sit through the original Transformers series since they released it. Awesome sweet beautiful revenge for making me sit through that awful show about toddlers doing beauty pagents.

How far are you in? I thought that the first season was wonderful, but everything became kind of awful for me after that.

Anyways, I'm currently watching through Psyche and the old generation of Star Trek.

The first three seasons of "That Mitchell and Web Look" were pretty good, if you haven't yet seen them.

Re: Netflix

I'm about halfway through the first season. I love how cheesy it is so unless it becomes really well done and Peter Parker becomes a sophisticated man about town I think I'll enjoy them all.

Re: Netflix

I'm addicted to Netflix. I'm on the two DVD plan and have a friend who lives a couple of blocks away who also on the two DVD plan and we swap movies so I'm watching around 4 - 6 DVD's per week along with two or three streaming shows. I just watched Bobby Fischer Against the World on DVD and I'm about half way through The Last Days of Frankie the Fly on streaming.

I don't watch regular TV except for sports and The Amazing Race so almost all of my viewing is done via Netflix. I love the variety. They have so many awesome concerts to watch that I feel like I'll never have time to wach them all and since I've never really watched a lot of TV before, they have a bunch of old TV shows that I love watching. I'm currently in the middle of the original Twilight Zone, Cheers, That 70's show and The X Files. And they have a ton of stuff for the kids. It's not uncommon at all at my house that the kids are streaming kids shows on the TV while I'm streaming stuff on my computer.

Another cool feature of the streaming is that you can take it anywhere you go. When we go on trips, where there is wi fi, we set the kids up on the lap top and we instantly have hundreds of options for them to watch.

I can't go withoug cable because my wife likes to watch the home improvement shows and I love watching live Baseball, Basketball and Football way too much to ever give it up but I personally spend a lot more time watching Netflix stuff than anything else.

Re: Netflix

Chasing Ghosts is on Netflix now, if you don't watch it, then leave R.U. forever.

I've added it to my queue. Thanks for the heads up!

I watched it last night. It's pretty good. I was surprised how much film and video footage they had from the 80s. That guy who made the zine about himself is hilarious.

The movie is only on netflix until March 1.
