Re: dead celebrities
Actually he got his start at Hewlett-Packard and then, after highschool, went to Atari. But that was a short run and he left to travel around India doing LSD which he said was one of the most important experiences in his life and directly influenced his vision. Then after the LSD he went back to Atari and supposedly had Wozniak do the work while he kept the majority of the pay they agreed to split.

Btw thanks to BBC I just learned that Napier was the guard who got cuffed to the cage and killed in Silence of the Lambs. That's one of those AH HA! moments and now I totally remember him in that.

He worked at Atari first, he previously attended seminars at HP while couch surfing and collecting bottles for food money.

Re: dead celebrities
Maybe my sources are wrong but they seem to imply that he worked there as a summer job and met Wozniak. Then went onto Atari. It's not a big deal though. Btw isn't it kinda funny we're bantering about Jobs jobs?

Re: dead celebrities
And regarding the ripping off of Woz, Atari's history is chalk full of inconsistencies. I'ved also heard reports that Bushnell was going to give Jobs 100 dollars for each chip they removed from the breakout boards to cut manufacturing costs, Woz removed 50 but Bush only gave them 700$, witch the split evenly. Coincidentally I've been listening to the retro gaming roundup's Atari special, very interesting stuff.

Re: dead celebrities
I got my info from a interview with Wozniak himself. He claims Jobs got paid 5 grand and he only received about 350. Either way it doesn't seem to be disputed that Jobs didn't do the work but got paid for it.

Re: dead celebrities
Jobs was more of a salesman. Woz was the brains. Neither would have been successful alone.

Re: dead celebrities
Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis died today at the age of 82. Of course, the man has already looked dead for a decade.
Seriously, Davis had a huge effect on the NFL and I fear the Raiders will never be the same.

Oh it's a sports thing? I wasn't sure who you meant and it didn't make sense. Well that guy did look like Mumm-ra so it's not hard to believe he was mean.

Didn't Lincoln have a dream that he was going to die the day before he died?
Stuff like this is just freaky.

Lincoln had death threats. Thinking you are going to die when people say they will kill you isn't too surprising.
