Wow, only 2 third round draft picks. Bears got quite the deal imo.

Why do you think he doesn't thank his team after every post game interview?

I mean like during the game when he's doing it as opposed to being with his team. It just bugs me, like Jesus cares about something so trivial when more important things could benefit from his attention.

How do you know that he isn't thanking God for having his teammate throw a block?

I would be willing to bet that he goes to neither team. The reason he "likes" these teams the best is likely because the teams he really wants are feinting interest or not ponying up the cash, so if his agent "generates" interest from other teams like Den or Ten, then the teams that Manning really wants will come around out of fear of not getting him.

Re: NFL
^ Yes.
Lets take a team like either Miami or Arizona. Everyone knows that Manning would prefer one of those two spots. They know this, so they aren't willing to pony up the money that Manning's agent wants. So the story leaks about how Manning is "interested in these other teams". There is only one Peyton, but if you increase the demand, either in reality or imaginary, then you can increase the cost.
I also suspected that when the Colts cut him and he said that he wanted to sign with a team in a week, I thought that was complete bs. His agent made that statement to generate immediate interest with the idea that the offer would only be on the table briefly. This is to try to generate maximum dollars. But I think Manning wants to wait as long as possible to sign a contract. Before he will be allowed to sign, he will have to pass a physical with that team's physician. If he doesn't pass the physical because of his neck injury, then he won't get any contract worth a damn from anyteam.

Re: NFL
Manning to Denver is the report out now.
So long Tebow. If Denver runs the style of offense Manning wants the consensus is Tebow can't run it(which is why they went to the option with Tebow) and he'll likely be moved since he has said he will not change positions.

Re: NFL
Wow apparently they're just going to dump Tebow to some other team. How lame of Elway. He just said Tebow would be starting quarterback a few months ago and now he's trading him.
I'll laugh if Peyton breaks down a few starts in the year and the Broncos are screwed while Tebow helps his new team get a playoff spot

He's alright. Main thing is that the Broncos publicly committed to him and now are trying to trade him lol.

Elway never wanted Tebow to begin with. Tebow is a quarterback in name only, the Broncos made the playoffs on the strength of their excellent defense and terrible division. They won in spite of him.

Re: NFL
I disagree. I think Tebow had a big part in them winning most of their games. And they definitely don't win the Steelers game without him. No denying he had a great game in that one.

Yeah but as the saying goes, a broken clock is right twice a day. A couple examples of doing well doesn't amount to him being great.

Re: NFL
In part, Tebow was successful because the Broncos ran a crap offense most defensive players haven't seen since HS or college. Give the defense enough looks they aren't familiar with and you'll get them eventually.
It'll be very interesting if he gets to be a starter again in that offense. Defenses all over the league now have more than enough tape on him to shut him and the option down.

Yeah, I can deny that, he had a good quarter (2nd) and one play in overtime. For the rest of the game, he was non-existent.
The truth about Tebow is this. He is a gifted athlete. He is not an elite caliber NFL quarterback. He is not even a mediocare quarterback (in regards to skills). He and the Denver Broncos managed to do something pretty remarkable last season while having perhaps the most pathetic offense of all time that thrived on big miracle plays.
John Elway was never committed to Tebow, even during the run last season, he said this was not the direction he wanted Denver to go. Tebow was selected in 1st round (stupid, stupid pick) by Josh McDaniels who is no longer with the Broncos organization. And Peyton Manning is an automatic update from Tebow. If that team with that defense can make the playoffs, imagine what they could actually do with an offense.

I'm guessing Tebow goes to Jacksonville. He's from there and the Jag's brand new owner seems to be enamored with him.

Re: NFL
If Tebow goes to either Jacksonville or Miami, they'll get tons of money from Tebow jerseys especially since he's so popular in Florida.
Obviously Manning is an upgrade but it's a bit risky because you never know how he'll hold up. I'd keep Tebow for insurance.

If Tim Tebow is your insurance policy, you need better options.

Tebow is a great insurance policy. He sells merchandise and puts fans in the stands. Being able to play football is only a perk, not a requirement.

Re: NFL
Tebow traded to the Jets for 4th rounder
Also, NFL dropped the hammer on the Saints:
-Sean Payton suspended for 1 season without pay
-Greg Williams(now in St. Louis) suspended indefinitely, suspension will be revisited in 1 year
-GM Loomis suspended for the first 8 games
-Assistant head coach suspended for first 6 games
-Team fined $500,000
-Team loses 2nd round picks in 2012 and 2013

Re: NFL
The interesting thing about the Jets getting Tebow is Tony Sparano, the former Dolphins coach, is now the offensive coordinator in New York. If Tebow must be a quarterback, the Wildcat is by far the best option for him.

Damn, Goodell went off on the Saints.
Tebow to Jets isn't complete yet. I've heard the deal won't be finalized and that Tebow might be going to St. Louis.
