No we don't want too many people. It's up to theguardian since he's host but I doubt his server can support a ton of people and their friends. We need to cap it somewhere.

So I dunno what's going on but apparently I can't play MC reliably. Sometimes it's smooth and no issues but other times I get constant lag spikes until my PC crashes. So in the meantime I just won't log in.

Sorry for this happening guys. I'm aware of the player constraint, but I would still like Dizzy and Panic to be able to play at least.

Personally, I don't see a ton of harm in say 10-15 people knowing about this, since not all of us will be on at the same and most people can run easily a minimum of 20 people easily. I'm not saying we should have a whole bucket-load of people, but even with the dozen or so of us now, it doesn't seem like there is ever more than 5 people on for a long stretch of time, you know?

I definitely get the idea that you don't want it being public though, I'm for that on this server as well, with maybe a few invites here and there.

Alright. I'll allow just a few. Because we already have a significant amount of people between the RU people and the people in my household, we have about 13 or so individials. I can handle that but i'm leaving the upper cap at 20. There's lots of room to explore but I will be policing heavily. if I see someone complaining (I do check the server chat logs) it will be investigated silently. As long as everyone gets along and things don't start getting out of hand due to friends inviting friends inviting friends i'm ok. Send me a list of people you want to add if you do have people you want to add. I will allow them and see how they interact

tl;dr

-Apparently, Notch is going to alter the Endermen's behavior somehow.
-Snowmen new addition to Minecraft and are friendly and only players can make them.Snowmen tend to be aggressive and attack the stronger mobs like Endermen and Creepers with snowballs.
-Although that doesn't do any damage, snowmen can be used to lure mobs into traps.
-Mooshrum Cow will be added to game (basically a red Cow) with no purpose so far.
-New elements to explore in Nether
-Boss monsters in "strongholds"

i can run it

but its not just ram, i have 3 gigs and run it perfectlly only because i have an awesome graphics card (before i got it the game was really laggy)

I have a desktop that can barely run it on small now, and a laptop that can run it, but I need to wipe clean every 2 weeks. So, if my desktop can't run it, then I won't be happy.

I'd prefer it to be an open club as well. Easier to attract attention. I encourage you all to join it if you play or have an interest in minecraft. We can discuss where we want to take our server from here, and have other threads for other stuff as well.

Did any of those have several RU members actively participating in them on a daily basis? That's why I picked the group "popular". I think that's different than the occasional "I like Pokemon" posts.
