Re: Game requests
TurboGrafix-16 was mostly known for it's shooters. This system is already on the site.
NeoGeo was mostly known for it's fighters.
Just like Genesis is known for its sports games and SNES for its RPGs.

The Genesis and SNES were much more well rounded than TG16 and NeoGeo.

the thing about neo geo is that almost all of its games outside the fighting genre were good

Re: Game requests
So when is the update coming anyways? There probably isn't a set date yet but is there any expected time? Are there any SNES games that are confirmed to work? How about Star Fox or Super Mario World?

Re: Game requests
Show what? That you can farm points in the "Top Secret Area". Yeah, that would be impressive
As for the update, we are still in the testing stage, please be patient. Kong does not want to put out an inferior product but it will be well worth it when it's done .

Re: Game requests
Like I'd be out shown on the first game I ever played and for every day while I was 4. I can beat the whole game (not 100% though) without dieing once.

Re: Game requests
yeah, that would be impressive to see how long you can kill enemies in the top secret area, you know like killing the same enemy over and over with a turtle shell bouncing between 2 pipes and racking up the points, see who can do that longest and you will earn my respect

Re: Game requests
lol, Also if you have a cape and a fire flower you can just jump up to the additional item box and mash select and he'll just stay up in the air getting 100 points per change until you stop.

I can't tell if Tomato Man is sarcastic or not, It isn't that hard to figure out but if he really didn't know that then I could bable all day about all the easy point tricks in Super Mario World I've found in the last ten years of my life.

It was decided that the hero members would be allowed to beta test.

Yes, Kong is now publically stating we are beta testing SNES for the next update. SNES is coming to RU if all goes well.
|
Finally I can tell Snake!!! ;D
I like it a lot, especially..

I didn't say that. I did say that the next update would be big though. The testers have had SNES for a while now.

Most of them were pretty bad plus there aren't that many of them. Most of them were obviously rushed. I just played the 32x version of Brutal Paws. While the 32x has better hardware than the SNES, the 32x version is nearly as bad as Cheetahman but the SNES version is definitely playable.
Sega CD was the only system to get the sequel to Out of the World - Heart of the Alien. That alone is reason enough to hunt one down on ebay. One of the best games ever and released only on Sega CD.

Secret of Monkey Island is a Sega CD game. Escape is for PS2.
About 25% of the 32x games would not load in the first round of testing. Not too bad.
@Tails. Try this. http://www.retrouprising.com/index.p...t=id;desc=DESC I haven't tested them.
