That's the same problem I had for my challenge and all of my former Yoshi's Cookie scores lol.

I don't get how the concept of farming can exist in a puzzle game like Yoshi's Cookie. The more cookies you get in a row = more points. There is a huge risk of dying by staying on one level too long, but that is by no means farming in the traditional sense anymore than setting up Tetrises in Tetris is farming instead of clearing one line at a time.

I'm going to put in my five cents and agree WB. Good example with the Tetris Tetrises by the way. Puzzle games can't be farmed because the game is designed to kill you eventually with the increased speed, like Tails says.

Just for the record SC, I was consistently scoring more than 30,000 points in my very first move in Yoshi's Cookie (NES) during the recent EC tournament.
It's all about how good you are at lining up massive multi hit combos. I don't think I ever even made it to level 4-1 in the game, but ended up with close to 100,000 points.

Bagel is correct, farming doesn't really apply to this game. I don't think there is anything wrong with playing on a lelel for a while to try and get larger combos. Whenever you stay on a level too long you are taking a really big risk of getting stuck and losing, because the game will suddenly speed up very quickly and then it's really difficult to dig your way out. So I don't see how that could be considered farming.

I stayed on level 1-1 for about ten minutes and I didn't notice any speeding up at all.

It's Noon, so I guess the time is up. Here are the scores I see:

Good game Tails! I always enjoy our Bomberman contests. I like that series quite a bit. The only thing I thought in this one version is that some of the hit detection was a little bit weird sometimes. I like the levels, though. World 3 (with the tree stumps) is very cool. Fun game. Thanks for playing.
