Ok, I'm not the kind of spoiled that doesn't appreciate the value of things, I only get cool things on my birthday or Christmas. Twice I've asked for LEGO trains. I still have them, although I don't use them anymore, but now I'm keeping them for my cousins when they grow up. LEGO trains are kinda expensive here, and the Wii as well, it was 300 dollars. Anyways, thanks for the support DB

@Tenser thanks for the name, now I can properly ask her for a Cheongsam, though I'm getting a long one, I'd be too embarrassed to use the shorter version.

@DB I didn't know about Guan Yu. Seems like a very interesting character but you're right, not really what I'd be most interested in. But thanks for the suggestion, now I have something new to learn about.

I liked the tea idea, I had already thought about it but wasn't sure which tea.

By the way, the car replicas are way cooler:

About Wii and regions.
NTSC and PAL refer to the scan lines on your TV. Anything that connects to your TV will have to match the same scan line format.
North America = NTSC
China = PAL

World scan line map.

Region locks are often referring to something different.
DVDs and most consoles that play disks have a region lock. This is to ensure that Americans play games sold in America and Chinese play games sold in China. This is because pirating is much more common in China and merchandise is much cheaper there too. Without the region lock Americans would buy media directly from China instead of through middle man and piracy rates would go up.

China sells everything. If your mom is careful I imagine she can get something with the proper scan lines and region lock. Just make sure it is designed for Americans and not locals.

If you appreciate the value of things, in my opinion, you are not spoiled. I consider someone spoiled when they forget the value of money, don't appreciate what they are getting at all, or take their parent's money for granted.

That's the very definition of spoiled.

I went to school with some kids whose parents would buy them a completely tricked - out car {I think they call it 'pimped' now} and they would lend the car to a friend, who would drive like an idiot and wrap the car around a pole {sometimes worse} while they stood there watching them do it, laughing.

The next week, their parents would buy them another completely tricked - out car ...
rinse and repeat.

It's unbelievable how spoiled some of these guys were.
Maybe more unbelievable is how rich some people here in Vancouver are.

Now I get why some people keep saying yes and others keep saying no.

My mom did also offer me to go, but I have finals the week she goes. So considering it would be a lot of money to take me, and that I would have to move my exam schedule's to take them before I was supposed to, then stress myself out double trying to get everything done and study... I decided it would be best to stay at home and do my best.

@Joe My god that's spoiled... sounds like some people I know from high school.... and now that I get what spoiled is (the translation of spoiled isn't the same in Spanish).. I'm not spoiled, I'm very very lucky

My mom left last week end and got back today. Since she was working she didn't get much shopping done but she got me my dress

I have to loose some weight but I really like it, if I get a chance to take a picture I might post it
