Lol, shelved, re-invigorated and then shelved a second time. My interest usually lasts a week or so, last time I came close, I had my order filled out for parts, scoped out the lumber yards, that was way too expensive, finally was about to drive 10 hours for a Marvel Vs. Capcom for 400$, that turned out to be closer to 1000$ for gas food and lodgings... so yeah shelved again for now. When I do make one it will be an R.U. theme, glowing marquee of the R.U. logo up top and everything, possibly modeled after a Centipede cabinet.

Not sure how it is in your area but when I lived in LA it was easy to find a junk cab for $50. Saves lots of money and work and wood working skill. I'd try calling some local arcade dealers if you can find any.

If making from scratch I think this is a beaut.

It's a slick design, but looks like it would need to be bolted to the wall, I think I'd prefer something more classic. That woman needs to be shopped out of the photo, Like how she was horribly shopped in, seriously, don't ever skew a human being.

My area isn't so generous for used cabs, from my experience anyway. You'll usually find old functional commons for 3-400 bucks.
