GB and SMS would be first and second. NES would be third. I assume this would make Wii work but would need testing first.

The Flash emulators are a nice addition because they make the site more readily accessable.

I'm sure Sabby would vote for the Intellivision. I'd be happy with that or the MSX.

The Lazer Disk (or Laserdisc) games were special arcade games that played from a Lazer Disk. Most of them were full animation, and had much better graphics then other games in the arcade at the time.

Some examples of Lazer Disk games are:

no, laser disk games sucked. dragons lair came out and a bunch of guys tried to jump on the band wagon, and produced a bunch of crappy games because they looked so good and were getting attention. then some kid in some arcade said "wait a minute, these games stink" and everyone agreed and the genre that really should never have existed, died.
the major problem with them is that all the graphics are already set in stone in the game, you basically just watch the game, hit a button at the right time and hope you get to watch the good animation, rather thatn the dying animation.

I don't think so. The Laserdisc games were produced in that format. In the case of Dragon's Lair, the game was a LD originally, and was then later on converted to other formats. LD games were not a gaming system so much, as a type of disc that games could be stored on.

I don't agree. Although, they were not as interactive as some types of games, they had graphics that were literally years (decades) ahead of anything else out at the time. I still play Dragon's Lair and Space Ace. It's more about completing the animated story than a hard core action game. Maybe not for everyone, but it did bring an experience different from anything else.

the problem lies in that fact that these can hardly be classified as video games, these are about as video gameish as that interactive vhs board games like "nightmare"
they were a novelty and they wore out quick.

I'm your man. I'll test it. I'm on the wii 99% of the time that I come here. Also, that I vote for bar none. That would just rock.

Edit: If that doesn't happen, I doubt I'll be around RU much. My PC is finally going to bite it this time, I think. So I can't play games here unless wii is supported... I'm not just saying this either. My PC keeps saying it's low on virtual memory. Yet, when I try to use programs to speed it up. It shuts them off. Been like this for over a week

i will also volunteer to be an official guinea pig. and cam i think you might be relying on these "speed up your computer" programs too much, i say just back-up what you want to and give your pc a good format, there isnt too much stuff out there that should require your computer sped up, a few programs like 3dsmax or editing gigantic files in photoshop or whatever. your pc shouldnt have any problems running everything ru has to offer. (im going out on a limb here and assuming your computer isnt from 1995)
