If you like all your food very hot then you will be lucky if a large bottle lasts a month not a lifetime.

The traditional scoville test is not supposed to be very accurate but they use science or magic or something to HLPC certify and that is accurate.

Capsaicin is fat soluble that means drinking water or beer or something similar will make no difference and just spread the pain. You need milk, yogurt, avacado, butter, grease or other fatty substance. If you get it in your eye just pour milk in it.

So we have heard the big Xmas presents (Revolution) what about the small presents. Everyone always gets a bunch of small trinkets that aren't worth bragging about. What are they?

Any non-Christmas people here?

Technically, I don't celebrate Christmas as my mum's family (as am I) are Muslim. In fact, my uncle actually gave me money at Idul Fitri this year. But since my dad's family are all Catholics, usually everyone just gives me gifts at Christmas, even my parents. Just easier, since Christmas is always at the same time every year! :P In fact, I got my 'Christmas' money today.

My family is not Christian either. Even though we don't really celebrate Christmas we still put up a tree and some lights. After all, the modern Christmas is geared more towards the children than its religious aspect.

Besides, when is it a bad time to have peace on Earth and good will towards mankind? Since Zoroastrianism strains to be inclusive instead of exclusive, there's no sacred tenets being broken over handing out gifts to the ones you love either.

On trinkets that aren't worth bragging about: For Kris Kringle at school I got a photo frame. It's not really useful and it's certainly not edible.

It's 4:47 PM on Christmas Day and it doesn't even feel like Christmas. Family parties just aren't as much fun as they used to be.

Well I thought it might be good to host Christmas Day for the first time this year. You know, it'd be nice to not have to travel, and worry about having too much nog for the drive home.
I hosted about a dozen people and it was a lot more work than I anticipated. It was a very nice day, and I glad I had my Wii to entertain everyone.
I'm still cleaning, and will be most of the day....

Yeah, hosting parties can be a lot of work. We do it twice a year, every Easter Sunday and we also throw a big BBQ every Father's Day. Everyone in the family has different holidays where it's their turn to host so no one gets swamped too much.

We got our son a V Smile Pocket with a couple a Elmo and a Barney age appropriate video game. He was also very excited about his Video Now with some Sponge Bob and Fairly Odd Parents movies, his Diego's Rescue Pack and his Blue's Clues' Notebooks.

Besides my new iPod and docking bay I also got SMB3, Pokemon Rescue Red, and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon for my GBA SP, an ice cream maker, and a new tool box.

Well my Mom and wife found me a Wii (Revolution for you Tekka) I must say very sweet and strangely addicting. Nintendo did a very good job in make new improvements to this console, my Mom was bowling with us and that is the first time i have ever seen her play video games. I should not be surprised as Nintendo always does this, innovations are its thing. Makes me wonder what would happen if Nintendo and Apple got together? Anyway I have been mostly playing the Wii Sports, my son (age 2) got me the Cars game, I played it a little, but not enough to say anything about it yet. I also have Zelda and Madden that I have not opened yet. This is the first game console I have bought that was newly released, for example I got an Advance last year, a PS2 about a year or so after they came out, so I feel cool.

Brody and Tekka, if you are using the wireless option on yours we should add each other to the buddies list. Also are there any games you can play together online? If not will there be any? Also do you guys know if you need a different remote to play the Game Cube games on it, or can you use the Wii remote and nunchuk?

Way to go Hobbes. I got mine too and I got my 73-year-old grandmother to bowl with me. You should have seen it; it practically brought a tear to my eye. Big ups to Nintendo. I got a new catch phrase for then, "Nintendo Revolution, bringing families closer, one granny at a time." Aright cut the mushy stuff, DBZ:BT2 is nothing short of outrageous. It's a must have by anyone’s standards. I also got Twilight Princesses by have yet to sit and play, I think I'll give it a go when a get to the Cell Saga.

I will be getting WiFi just as soon as I get another remote, which will most likely tomorrow anyway. When I do get it I'll let y'all know so we can meet up but until then I'm working on my batting in Wii Sports, man do I suck at baseball....

I totally forgot that we could do that. :gasp: When I get home, I will post my "Revolution" Friend Code in the (Revisited) thread. Then we can link up and post messages and transfer Mii's to one another.

As for playing games online, there are none to play at the moment. The first two online-enabled games are going to be Battalion Wars 2 and Mario Strikers: Charged. Beyond that, I'm not sure what else is in store for that.

To play GameCube games, you simply plug GameCube controllers and memory cards into the system itself. On the top of the system is a two part flip-top lid; the larger section is for the controller ports, the smaller is for the memory card ports. If you don't have any GC controllers, you'll need to get some.

And I went to the zoo with my cousins last night, and it was fun! But when we went to the penguin area, there was a sign that said "The penguins are off to nest. Please come back next year."

Don't they nest every year. Maybe it should say come back a different season. But I guess it is a refference to there only being a few days left before New Year's Eve and not an official full spin around the Sun.

The zoo here in Prague is pretty good. They let you go into the monkey and bat cages. I don't think you are supposed to pet them but you can always pull off the dumb American thing and pretend you can't read the signs.

Yeah, Nintendo called me up and said they were thinking about naming their new system the Tenser's Wii but it didn't pass censors. Now it just comes boxed with a sticker that says "Tenser's" that you can place right above the word Wii on the system.
