@beverly, Why were you so jelouse when you saw ro and rohm leave ten-forward together, it was very unusual.
@Guinan, also Guinan, you seemed to be on a bit mission after serving the cosmic dazes, to Warf and Geordi, why would you of all people need to know information on the security protocol of the orb? Not to mention you were quite adamant in learning about how to transport objects off the ship...

I don't know why you would think I am jealous.

Anyway, I overheard Geordi and William arguing about where the Orb should be kept before we returned.

And yesterday afternoon, Will and Worf were arguing on the Bridge about protecting the Orb.

(These are my facts. Can we simplify them, or do we have to put detail? Talk to me in the Bridge about it Guinan.)

@ Data, as I was accompanying the Orb to the science lab to arrange security, I noticed you were continually in the area with your tricorder. I even saw you handling the Orb and carefully inspecting it. Do you have an explanation?

@ Guinan, found it suspicious that you kept questioning me about the security and access into the science lab. Why would a bartender need this information?

@ Ro, as securiy chief I have access to much information. A bit of pertinent data is that I found out that you are a common criminal. What do you have to say for yourself, "HeSwI' "?

@Deanna and Worf. My culture has many legends about The Orb of Knowledge. I merely asked if security would allow me access to study it. After all Commander Riker asked me along on this mission so I could attempt to authenticate it. I still have not had a chance to do my job.

And I was also asked to send "refreshments" to the archeological team on Delphi 4. I couldn't do that without the shuttle. Just doing my job.

@Deanna, when I was in Ten-Forward yesterday I saw that you were really coming on to Commander Riker, right out in the open. This behavior seemd a little inappropriate. Can you explain it?

@Data, why were you remotely accessing engineering records from the computer terminal in your quarters yesterday? Normally it might not have been a big deal, but it caught my attention because of the enormous amount of power you were routing. I decided to keep an eye on the systems you were using and noticed that you continued your activity for a period of more than five hours. Got any answers?

For Data to spend 5 hours doing something on a computer it must have been extremely involved. He is normally so fast.

Is Geordi the only one that hasn't been accused of some sort of deviant act. That sounds very suspicious. How did you manage to keep all suspicions off of you. You are very smart. Maybe even smart enough to pull this little caper off without making a mistake.

(Sorry I'm late to the party. Things are a little unstable for me atm and there's nothing I can do about it. I haven't forgotten about this I've just been distracted.
I put stuff in spoilers to make this post less huge, it's not meant to be secret in any way)

After listening to everyone I have a few questions my self. But first I will answer those presented to me.

I would also like to comment on Geordi since Guinan brought it up. Although we are close friends I must admit he does possess the technical ability to handle this kind of deception. Forgive me Geordi but I am obligated to volunteer any relevant information.

Lastly I found this note while in Ten Forward and I think it might be relevant. Dr Crusher was supposed to meet with R.E. It seems likely that would be Dr Rom Eulan.
Excuse me Dr Crusher but could you discuss this with us?

(It's not a big deal but you guys aren't saying Ensign Ro's name right. According to the linked wiki article her people put the last name first. If you're gonna call Tenser Will then Oasis should be Laren. Unless your character isn't informal like that(Worf, Data)

I also remember something else from yesterday in Ten Forward. Ensign Thrope commented that earlier in the day will had requested plans for a class III planetary prove. He said he was very pleased to have the chance to assist Commander Riker since this request would normally go through Geordi.

which brings up another interesting thing about geordi.

After returning from my trip from delphi 4 I volunteered to work with geordi on the construction of the stasis field.
Geordi said he did not need any help. which was strange because of his desire to finish the project quickly so the Enterprise could leave obit.
I eventually got assigned the duty from commander Riker as well.

I hate to make assumptions without all the facts but I have to admit I can see Ensign Ro as a possible suspect too. I mean no offense of course but she is the most recent addition to the crew and she does not have the same level of trust and loyalty we all share. That on top of her criminal record does make it likely but like I said it is too early to be sure.

Another thing I feel is important is the possibility of people working together. If Ensign Ro did do this then she would probably need help. Guinans unusual request to pilot a shuttle craft solo is a possible clue but with the unexplained transporter usage I tend to believe Geordi would have to be involved since he has the ability to manipulate these systems and not arouse suspicion.

It bothers me to think that any of you could do this but we have to consider the importance of the orb and what the Romulans would do to acquire it.

Not to mention that Ro was the last person seen with the Dr. before his untimely demise. This has been supported by facts of three different people.

I would still like to hold out judgement until we gather more hard facts instead of just speculation though.

I think Ro should provide an explanation. As a criminal herself, she could be capable of dishonorable behavior again.

I also still think it was suspicious that Guinan pressed me so forcefully on the lab security access.

Hmm... I agree that Ro is looking pretty suspicious. I've never heard her mentioned her criminal record before. Pretty hard to trust someone who has such a sordid past.

I'm also still puzzled over Data's extremely suspicious activity with the ship's computers. It's pretty unusual for him to be sneeking around like that.
