I got a question, why are characters included that have only been in one or two games(besides brawl)?

I unlocked Luigi in Super Mario Galaxy, he is horrible compared to Mario.

no. Every mission is the same except the Prankster Comets.

Main reason why he stinks:
He slides WAAAAAY too much.

Yes, he is slightly faster than Mario and can jump a little higher than Mario, but it's not that much to make a difference.

I think they should make more Starfox games. Fox is a true hero.

I've heard rumors they're making one, they're just rumors though. Same with Star Fox.

To be honest, I'm a little surprised that they haven't capitalized on more of their classic characters. Mario & Link are great, but there are many other cool characters out there.

I heard Nintendo stopped funding the production team. It was posted in the Feb Wii Mailbag on IGN if you can find the article. I tried looking for it and couldn't in their archives.

He's only had one game. Kid Icarus had at least two, one for the NES and one for the GameBoy, they're both on the site here.

That's not completly true. Little Mac was in Punch-Out (or Mike Tyson's Punch-Out) and in Super Punch Out which was a different game. Furthermore, he was in the original arcade game which was the basis for the NES game. Also, although he was just a bonus character, he was also playable in the nintendo version of Fight Night.

Don't forget Little Mac is legendary. Punch out was THE game when I was a kid. Everyone loved it. Kid Icarus? Yeah it was cool but it wasn't as user friendly. Getting pwned by eggplants isn't everyones idea of fun.

Btw do you guys think Pit would be as well known today without Brawl? To be honest I thought he was called Kid Icarus until recently. I still don't know/care why he's called pit.

Also if possible I think you should remove pit and olimar from the list since they are very limited and most people probably don't even know who they are.
Add Luigi since he's almost always been a part of anything Mario does. I think he deserves equal standing for his efforts.

Add little mac for being legendary.
