About World Class Bowling, if lastexpofan has 1:46 then beats my 1:52 [for some reason, I can't check the times in this game]. Therefore, the times shown on the game page are incorrect. I don't know how scoreboard measures, so it's not clear what time I need to do for a win.

You fixed the Capcom Bowling issue, why don't you fix Face Off too?

It was for a different reason. There was a bug that caused the score board to not always consider times in ties. I fixed that issue, but this is caused by different issue that is too difficult to fix.

The problem is if you press "end" to fast forward the game then that fast forwarded time is not counted. This can not be fixed. If I could go back 15 years ago and do it differently, I would, but now it is baked into all of the scores and can not be undone.

All I can tell you is to try pressing "end" during the cut scenes to reduce your time. That is what Tails did, although I don't think that was their intention.

If you would like me to delete your tied scores because you didn't know about this, let me know.

In Riding Hero the fastest 9 point score from

Key "end"? You mean "F10", this is what we press in MAME for fast forward. I usually press F10 to avoid cutscenes, but I didn't know that ff doesn't count time!

So, is that the reason? Riding Hero only has a cutscene at the begining, and as I just saw Tails actually made ff there, he also made ff when he crashed.
Then the problem is solved, I' ll do another inp with ff.

FYI.
At bottom left of any page is a drop down that says "------ Default". If you change it to "Beta" it loads games in a slightly newer version of MAME and generally works better and has a few more features. However it disables Fast Forward in score mode and so will always submit the correct time. But if you use that mode you will still be competing against people who are not using it, who can use FF to shave their times.

Correction. It will record the correct time with F10. Only the End Key shaves time off.

This is a bug, but the bug wont be fixed.

Well, I uploaded another inp that was confirmed, with lots of ff, but my score page says I' m second.
Riding Hero has now a multiple draw, like in bowlings, is that why? Need your fix again?

And meanwhile there was a draw in F1 Grand Prix Part 2, Razeluxe has a slower inp, but I guess he's faster in scoreboad measuring?

A question about "clears", aren't they auto? I didn't get the "cleared" tag in Crazy Rally, like the previous champ. This game has a 3 stages loop, then repeats. Loop games seem to get this tag.

And a question about golf games, all those golf games with no submitted scores yet. I' ve uploaded a few, now are "processing". When many credits are available player is free to use them all, right? I need to know what applies before I go on and play more golfs.
When players have a deleted game they get a msg about it, Atari Mini Golf was deleted without any msg [this game has no scoring system, so I thought that maybe we could count the completed holes. I played it because the option "arcadeOX Score Mode » Compete for the high score!" was available].

Birdie Try (gets dark and freezing after first stage. Delete?)

I have added scores and clears for the Golden Tee games. The games were already set to "Lowest score is best".

As for Crazy Rally it looks like a few players will have completed the full course (ie the first 3 stages) so I will add in clears to those who have.

Nope! I was wrong. After looking at the other scores I can see that heaps of players timed or crash out right at the end of the track, and so didn't complete the full loop. So I only needed to add one clear - Master_of_the_Universe's - with apologies for overlooking this when I verified the score.

You posted both of my Turf Masters clearings on the forum, but comparing my score from yesterday to today, I got 0 points.

Before Turf Masters I made a clearing at Golden Par Golf, so the "cleared" announcement, first place and points(30) are pending.

You also gave me a "cleared" without points in F1 Grand Prix, but the other three players who also completed the stage haven't receive it.

Nope. It is helpful to write "cleared" in the comments section for the score. Same for "flipped" if you flip the score. Otherwise they might be overlooked. It is hard to be familiar with every game and catch clears and flips every time with the amount of free time we have available.

In Atari Golf, the scoring, clearing system and score mode were removed. The game doesn't have a good system for either of these.

Fixed. It was caused by Golden Par Golf. There was a rare circumstance that caused problems in a few games where lowest scores is best. It happened in your Golden Par score and 23 other scores on site. It is fixed now. Thanks for catching it.

Everything on my scorepage is sorted, and all my pendings were uploaded and in the correct place


Just some notes,

-There is no "cleared" in Major Title and Major Title 2. I only went to 4th and 6th hole(because only 1 credit is available) and all holes are 18.


-There is no "cleared" in Turf Masters for ExedExes and kiwinavega, they only went to 5th and 9th hole.

I didn't clear this game on my 18 score, but on my previous scores 17 and 16.


-After giving "cleared" Gallop Racer credit to PP1969GR and pilman22 for completing at least one race, you can also give it to the rest of the players.

I try to play it, but the pop-up window only appears for half a second and disappears.

It works. I saw you requested score verification for one of the tank games. I tried to watch the gameplay movie however the movie "de-synced" no matter what I tried. ie the input and playback gets out of sync with what happened in the original gameplay and the playback movie ends up meaningless and showing the wrong footage and score. This happens with some games. I saw you had beaten the top score on that game so I figured you were no longer interested in the footage (which I couldn't get to work anyway).

Monte Carlo playback also de-syncs (for me at least), which is why some of the top scores have "request verification" instead of "verified".

Yes, I clicked on Tank Battalion, a classic arcade title. The former champion has 5 pauses and that's suspicious. I can't see it either, so I clicked on "Request Score Verification". I thought that you, the mods, can see all inps, and that I couldn't see it because I have a bad rom or something.

Maybe Kong can see all games, because in World Class Bowling I can't see all of the 300points inps, but these inps are verified.

There is a strange issue with hackeynut's inp in Super Visual Football: Europeran Sega Cup. I think he's faster than me, but the score is 3-1, not 5-0! I wonder how this happened. So I clicked on "Request Score Verification" to check it out. This is the final screen of his one and only inp(6-21-2011):

I changed Turf Masters scoring. You must complete all 18 holes. I deleted the scores that did not.

Same for Gallop Racer. You must complete all 6 races.

Clicking Request Score Verification will send message to a game mod to verify the score. Meaning they will watch it. After it is verified there will be a link on the score page for Donors to watch the video.

A very small percentage of games desync during the playback. Pressing Fast Froward as the player or as the watcher increases the chance of desync. Here are a few tips that will fix some of the desyncs.

1. Do not press Fast Forward while watching. (this fixes most desyncs)
2. If it is a coin-op game and the coin is not registering you can press space bar to insert a coin after the game starts but before the player presses start.
3. Press F5 to reset the game.
4. Delete CFG or NVRAM files for the game in your local arcadeox folder. (rarely helps)
5. Rarely it will sync on some computers and desync on others

Scores are being submitted to this game in two ways. One, play a single game and score is the point spread. Two how many games you can play. We need to decide on one method and delete the others. I am not familiar with this game. What is the most logical and competitive way for this game to be scored?
