Missing scores - Page 2

yes I did and checked after the recording was done it only showed the earlier 200k games this was magmax on the nes

This is a cross post from another thread but it seems this 9,999,975 point Robotron game I just played this morning may have been lost too...

The game was several hours long. I quit at wave 353. Hit F12 and got the accepted score message. Then I closed the window like I have done many times in the past.

I usually check my own movie and score folders but it did not show up and has yet to.

RU is looking into it but it seems there are some problems with long recordings and that you have to take extra steps now to make sure you do not lose the recording.

I wish I knew about the view cue option discussed above and that I could always hit F12 again to try to save it a second time?

Bummer. I hope these recordings turn up or that RU can fix the problem.

seems to me longer games are being lost .. I had 2 magmax games fail to upload .. 800k and 999,800

Sorry to hear that. It's pretty heartbreaking to think your high score is saved only to find it gone despite the system saying it was taken care of.

Wow I am cursed with these bugs!

Just tried to play Robotron again and at around 5,000,000+ points RU freaked out for a second and game hiccuped like it was going to crash. Then it acted like I was pulling down on both joysticks and would not give me control. The game kept acting like it was jumping frame speed on and off while it did this.

That killed my attempt to get back to 9,999,975 pretty quick and broke what was left of my spirit.

As soon as I closed the window my Xarcade went back to responding to the joystick properly. Worked fine in MAME and when I went back to RU Robotron everything was normal again. Didn't even have to unplug the USBs or anything.

My Coin-Op Mortal Kombat 2 7:47 speedrun world record from 8-16-16 hasn't been verified yet. I'm not sure if that one was lost too or not. The .INP and snap files are in my saved game files on the site though.

I'm not sure how to view the verification queue.

Why I can't register a new score in Ms Pac Man/coin op?
I made 270k and 290k, but they both lost.
The duration of this game is about 90 minutes, so I d'like to know before I play another one.

There must of been a communication problem between you're computer and the server is all I can think for you're Ms. Pac-Man scores.

That could be on how everything is setup with all of the games and software. I know the S-NES Mortal Kombat has glitchy graphics when playing it and playing back the replays from it. The S-NES Mortal Kombat 2 and 3 I didn't notice that crap on those games. The Coin-Op Ms. Pac-Man might have something wrong with it if it's not saving recordings properly some of the time. You have a score of almost 200,000 saved in you're recordings folder. But the higher ones aren't there for some odd reason.

This is completely off topic Limbo. I didn't want anything to do with TG anymore since the ownership changed and since it was full of scores with little evidence or no evidence. I let a troll take over my account during that thread and post garbage since I figured I was done with that site for good. That very troll I believe is you since I've seen 3 of the records you've beaten so far on here had that troll as the previous record holder. You're just jealous since I proved once and for all that I was legit by coming to this site and proving myself on the few games I care about getting records on. I prefer this site over TG and all other websites since you have to do the scores for real live right on here. Some of the other MK records I've seen from others elsewhere I don't know if they achieved them legit or not since they never came on here and achieved a similar score. After hearing that WolfMAME files could be hacked I thought this was the only way of proving to others without a doubt that I can beat some of the Mortal Kombat games really good. This is the best gaming site there is for proving someone's skills are for real or not.

Well, this time I played a shorter game, 243k, just to get 3rd place. And yes... score is registered.

I wonder what is the problem in my ms pacman games, maybe that I use to let my pacman immobile for several minutes?...

Today I saw my overall score reduced.
There was a tidying up in my scoreboard, from Kong I guess, but still 2 games are missing:

Major Title
Major Title 2

Krehztim told that these game have problem because of their negative score.
I don't mind if they are not displayed in my page, but can I have their 50 points, dear Kong?

Homepage says

PP1969GR is the new Out Runners Champion

but in game's page shows a score of 0, and no any points(25) in my scorepage.

Since I made a time of 5'03"85 the score should be 50,385, right?

Just verified the score and entered the correct info. The score shows up correctly in game search now. But for some reason that 0 score is still on the scoreboard. Not sure where that 0 score is coming from.

I remember when I pressed F12 also. It was right after leaving the Toad Air Marshall battle at the end of the game. But if it's not in the queue, then I'm just going to assume it's lost. This has happened before back in January.

I don't see any INPs in the folders on the server, either. How long was the actual gameplay? I know we've had issues with some longer games.

Yeah, this is yet another one of those weird cases where if you look at the very top of the scoreboard it says:

PP1969GR is the champion of
Out Runners
Highscore: 50,385

But, his score doesn't appear in the actual list with the trophy. He's seen this on other games, not just with him. It's buggy and we're not quite sure why. He got the leaderboard/scoreboard points, he just doesn't appear in the actual list of scores. Nothing we can do about it right now.

And again, Kong will have to diagnose issues with you getting points for those 2 games. We're just game mods. I think we've had this conversation before.

This is ok now, fixed.
There is in my gamelist.
But in game's page you have to click in "View All Scores".

What don't you just change the type of score(as you do in many racing games)?
From negative to positive, from to -3 to 3.

One of my friends recently submitted a pair of hour+ runs on Gyromite, and neither of them showed up on the board either

I guess I'd suggest avoiding long runs right now, if you don't want to risk wasting your time.

My best Coin-Op Mortal Kombat 2 runs only appear on the view all scores page. There's a bunch of them that should be deleted out of there since the best runs should be the only ones shown on there. I have a 16 score run with a 9:35 time and a 14 score one with a 7:47 time. I put the times in off to the sides of the good runs in their comment areas on the 2 I don't want deleted off of there.
