Strange is great but Rocket Raccoon and Nova/Iron Fist should've been replaced with Venom and Gambit or at least someone a little bit more recognizable and popular.

Well technically, if they released all these characters separately they

Apparently he's a mainstream Marvel character I never heard of. Seems like he's in the same vein as Howard the Duck.

How much do they charge per character DLC?
This is twelve characters, for forty dollars.
That is what, about three dollars a character? That is a poor deal either way.

5 bucks a character is a joke and total scam. I think holding the characters back from the first release is a scam anyways but when they put them in a cheap DLC pack it's easier to swallow(not that I'd spend a dime on it though).

Five dollars per character? That is a terrible deal. Yeah, comparatively, three is a fine deal.

Not to mention new stages, and all of the old characters/stages.
For less than the incomplete complete game last time.

Still don't like it, but tolerable.

A full game, with more stuff than the last one, for twenty dollars cheaper is a bad deal? Okay...

It's a bad deal if you bought the game back in February or something, and want the characters from this one, at which point you would have bought both.

Yeah it's slightly better if you're gonna buy it either way. I just wish people wouldn't buy any extra characters so this trend would die and game companies would be honest about it and release the whole game at one time.

I wouldn't have bought it in the first place, because I know Capcom likes doing this. Like with Street Fighter 2, or Street Fighter 3, or Street Fighter 4. They just release the same game with slight revisions for the full cost.

At least this has more new characters than the revisions to Street Fighter 2 did, and it doesn't cost full price, like the revisions to Street Fighter 2 did.

The first time I noticed this scam was while playing Soul Caliber 4. They released the DLC so soon after launch and it was obvious that they held back characters to make money. Like the PS3 version had Darth Vader at launch and the 360 version had Yoda, why did we all have to pay for them a couple weeks later to have the complete roster? It was insulting.

Well I had a friend who owned both SFIV and SSFIV and he said it was worth
getting the newer version, so I would guess the same will be said of the new
version of MvC3.
