Btw for anyone who didn't hear Obamas speech I wanted to mention that he very specifically said this war is not a war on islam. Osama targeted muslims as well as the rest of us. I was glad to hear that but I'm sure the nutjob crowd will see it as him being weak or supporting islam over chrisitianity.

@Kong - some things will change. The US gets a boost of morale and relations improve with pakistan. It's also a big symbolic blow to the terrorist who followed him. But that means they'll want revenge.

Clearly this is a sarcastic remark about the point I'm trying to make: they've shown you a different person and tried to pass them off as the real Osama, and you still trust them when they say they 'got him'?

Or am I the only one who remembers them showing the fat Osama who didn't look like he did any other time?

I would have bet that he was already dead. All evidence that he was still alive was extremely flimsy.

@JG: It would be ridiculous for the President to go on national TV and lie about the killing of bin Laden. How easy would it be for bin Laden to prove otherwise and greatly embarrass America, President Obama, and the US military? Can't you just let us be proud of our nation and be happy?
