Silent Hill or Resident Evil - Page 2

This is a really tough call for me. Resident Evil has turned into an action game, and not really a survival horror game, so the modern games are not really comparable. I probably liked SH: Shattered Memories more than RE5. But I also really love RE2 and Code Veronica.

I think I have to go with Silent Hill, but it really depends on my mood.

I have to go Silent Hill because EVERY game was scary. RE 4, and 5 were not.

4 and 5 were not intended to be scary. If you do not like them, there is no need to tie them in with your memory of the series. Even then, I don't think that the originals are supposed to terrify you.

No thats not it. i loved RE 4 and 5. I just thought that the whole idea of RE was to be scary.

I've always thought that to be right, in a sense, but more so now I think that RE is supposed to be suspenseful and tense. Silent Hill games are always giant mind funks that make you feel like you don't have control, very good for making the player nervous.

And let's face it, Capcom does action best.
