Actually, they have. Already got people buying for Christmas at work. Economy has a part in that.

@Cassidy: If you think Kinect will fail, why did you wait out and buy it (depending on if I read this topic right.)

For me, that is just too much, I agree with Kong controllers are better.

Anyone else think those two look ridiculous without the TV screen for a frame of reference to what they are trying to do in the game?

I agree and disagree. I don't think Kinect or Move will hurt Nintendo, and no one is going to buy a 360 or PS3 for these things. But I don't really think that's what they are going for. I think these things are for parents who have a 360 to play Gears of War or whatever, and their kids don't get to play the 360 or whatever. It's a good thing to buy for the kiddos so they can get in on the 360 action and maybe you can play a game with them. And if you already have a 360 for your Gears of War or whatever it's cheaper than buying a Wii.

I know I always enjoyed eye toy some years ago when I'd go over to my friends house and eye toy was a big deal and fun for many people to play. Then I decided to rent it once and I hardly played it on my own and it was nowhere near as fun...

So I see two problems with kinect, I mean it looks cool now but A: I am no longer like 10 years old like I was years ago playing eye toy and B: I would probably not enjoy it much on my own anyways.

Assuming that video is legit it still doesn't really prove anything. It looks like a cheap little game designed for all ages so it's bound to have a auto aim feature to keep kids in the game. Kinda like how Mario Kart Wii rewards horrible gamers for playing like crap, or being a little kid.
