Name Game: Fictional Characters A-Z - Page 19

**Dudebro** · 03-16-2011, 04:42 PM

Someone rated me down for mentioning how ridiculous people are being in this topic? Wow, grow up. This is a pointless forum game. Yes it's annoying when some people repost ones that have been done before but to throw a tantrum and rate people down over it is much more annoying.

Btw from the very first post of the topic-

Quote:

Do your best to not name the same character from previous posts!

That does not say "check all the old posts or you'll be rated down and called out for it". Jeez.

Just ignore it, I +1 you.
I mean we all know you mean no harm.

Don't feed the trolls.

**samejamesbond** · 03-16-2011, 06:35 PM

If you look, the ones everyone are trying to fix are getting -1s again.
So what can you do?

**Dudebro** · 03-16-2011, 06:42 PM

@SJB- It's not about me being rated down, I've come to expect that since people like to troll me for a reaction. It's about you guys getting them over something so trivial. I don't think you, SFF and others deserve multiple rate downs for posting pics in a forum game topic about posting pics. More specifically you should not be the lowest rated user over this.

That being said I do agree with the notion that you should put more effort into not repeating, but it's not a big deal.

Vanisher.

There I plusified you 1 DB now that post is even not that it matters the + and - are just a stupid game as well but it is kind of fun to get a run going on a show. Adds a level of dificulty to it.
I supose we could start another thread for a game that involves maintaining a certain show as long as we can.

The rate downs have been less for a repeat and more for the complete lack of effort. There are literally thousands of fictional characters and naming Squall for the "S" on 3 different occasions on less that 20 pages is ridiculous. Like wise, I rate up for an awesome or obscure reference. If you don't want a rate down from me at least, show a little imagination and creativity and stop using the throw away Wario when it comes to "W".

I recognize that I'm not a judge, jury, and executioner in this, but a rate down is my way of shouting "BOOOOO" for a poor play.

I went ahead and made it easy for everyone too. Check page 16 to see what has been used.

Oh really? If this is true then I believe you owe me several rate ups. I have 36 posts in this topic so far and the majority of those are characters most people have never heard of.
