That was really sad. They even made it a part of his current show(8 Simple rules) and damn was that hard to watch. If I remember right he died on the set from an undiagnosed heart condition.

You're correct. I was in middle school when he died.

His son is now into movies I read, think he is on NCIS or something like that.

Legendary and Hall of Fame Baseball player and manager, Sparky Anderson died at the age of 76. Shocking considering that he looked 76 about 20 years ago.

He won 3 World Series Championships with the Cincinnati Reds and Detriot Tigers and is 6th on the all-time mangerial wins list.

They will be missed, but their contributions have enriched entertainment in general, made us laugh, gave us a fright, and made us think.
At least they lived good long lives.

Being older than most members, hearing of these two passing on kind of hits home ... mainly because I'm nearly half their age! ... but also because their work represented the thoughts and attitudes of past generations, when people weren't ashamed of having emotions and having a good laugh at absolute silliness was the norm... or maybe even a good cry ... but not anymore.
