Backwards compatibility doesn't count. Supported means that games are still being created (not sold) for the system.
Example: Since no PS2 or PS3 game will play in a PS1 console, the PS1 is no longer being supported.

Out of This World's creator, Eric Chahi, has made an updated version of the game that runs on Windows XP with improved graphics, and you can get this new version off his site for just nine bucks! And really, wouldn't you rather spend nine bucks on a classic game than spend sixty on some crappy new Xbox 360 game? Of course you would. You're a crafty consumer who appreciates the finer things in life, and nine bucks is a small price to pay for a trip out of this world.

The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 - The Complete Series will be released out on DVD June 26th. I've created a calendar date to remind me. You can be a complete moron and buy it for the suggested retail price of $29.99US or off of Amazon.com/ripoff for $24.99US. Or you can be the educated consumer and march right on down to CD Universe and pay a measly $14.14US.

Yesterday, while going to garage sales in Meco I bought a Namco Plug & Play that comes with five NES games. Ms. Pac-Man, Pole Position, Galaga, Xevious, and Mappyland.
I also purchased an Atari Flashback 2. Another plug & play that comes with about 40 games. The really nice thing is some of these are extremely rare games!

Paddle Games
The console also includes two hidden titles which require the use of paddle controllers. The Flashback 2 does not come with paddle controllers, so these games cannot be played unless the user has an original set of Atari 2600 paddle controllers. To access the hidden paddle game menu, the user must press up on the joystick 1 time, pull down 9 times, push up 7 times, and pull down 2 times. (This represents the year 1972, in which Pong first appeared). The code must be entered steadily and without pauses (enter it too quickly and it won't work).

I've seen that Atari Flashback 2 before as well. I was amazed at how many unreleased and exclusive games it has. Sooner or later, I am going to pick one up as well. If, for no other reason, for Yar's Return.
That's pretty cool about the hidden games too. Too bad I don't have any Atari 2600 paddle controllers anymore.

I have a 2600 but the guy I bought this off of gave me two 2600 controllers with it as well. This way I don't have to switch back and forth.
I bought the Namco one for $5 and the Atari for $10. Wiki said that it originally came with instructions on how to mod the system to play 2600 carts but the instructions were long gone. I have a 2600 so it doesn't really matter to me but it might be something you'd want to look into Tek.

Yeah, I had heard that as well. A very intriguing concept indeed. I have a friend who knows his way around a soldering iron, so it might be worth the investment.

As do I. It's a bit hard to figure out at first (unless you've read the instructions) but it's a good game. I discovered it through a device similar to the Atari Flashback. I haven't played it in a while, though.

Re: Odd thoughts by Tenser
I can tell the IntelliVision games were directed at me. All of those games are classics. Unfortunately, if I remember correctly, the sports games (well, not skiing) need 2 players to play them. Night Stalker and Astrosmash are a couple of the best games for the system.

I know that, I was pointing out that the upgrade broke Tenser's pic of Tekka. Would be cool if Tenser did that again.
