To assume that animals don't fight each other is a bit of a stretch. True, animals can not produces weapons of mass destruction, but that does not stop them from fighting over food, territory, mating rights, or pack status.

Yes, animals do fight, but do they form factions based upon where they live, then conglomerate the factions and form two opposing sides who then find a suitable battlefield and brutally murder each other?
No, animals do fight amongst themselves and even kill each other, but not on the scale of humans. I also doubt that the giraffes ever had a time where they were within minutes of a potentially world ending nuclear warfare that would be triggered once one side acted.

I also doubt that lemurs have ever committed genocide against slightly different lemurs.

We've traded instinct for intelligence.

Sure, the average dog is dumb by intellectual standards, but it has also managed to find a way to completely leech of of mankind, so this "dumb" creature has us under it's control to a certain extent, and it no longer needs to be self reliant.

Duh(my apologies, but I couldn't find a better word). But realizing is the first step, where there is no second with out disproving the first that I can think of.

Dog is more pure than man because of a lesser intelligence. Therefore man must eliminate dogs to be more pure by comparison.
Man must prove dog is less pure.
Man must prove to be more pure, for the sake of being more pure.

It mostly comes down to refusing to accept what we as a people are. Besides, don't you think dogs would create weapons if they were smart enough? Or maybe that was your whole point. In other words were you going through one long fact or an opinion?

Please forgive me, but no one ever asked me my permission to create or test nuclear weapons, or to start wars, or any other terrible thing mentioned in this discussion as examples of 'what Humanity does'.

I never chose these things, and neither did most of you.

These things were done in the 'name' of 'all of us' by the people in charge.
Since weapons and wars are the examples being used, the ones responsible for those things are the people in charge of the Military/ Industrial complex, the militant arm of the corrupt World Bank/ International Monetary Fund/ United Nations, who in turn are owned and managed by the elites - the Banksters.

If we're talking about our 'moral compass' in regard to what 'Humanity' is 'doing' to the World and its creatures, I think the average person's heart is in the right place, but they are being deceived and manipulated.

One example of this is the energy - deficit 'Eco - fuels' made from corn.
People want to save the Environment, and so they buy this stuff thinking it's the right thing to do because that's what the mainstream media has told them.

It's just a matter of countering the disinformation surrounding these issues like Carbon emissions and Global Warming the elites are using to gain support for the Global Carbon Taxation Scam, for example.

Once people realize their Environmental consciousness has been manipulated through disinformation, they can begin to see the real picture.

{key to this realization is the knowledge that the Environmental movement was created by the elites to manipulate people in this way, such as to gain support for the Global Carbon Taxation Scam, for example - think Edward L. Bernays}

Once they begin to see the real picture, they can alert others to the deception.
Once enough people are alerted to the deception, the elites' house of cards will fall, and Humanity can move forward technologically and in an evolutionary sense = FINALLY.

First off, we evolved, not traded. Second, when a dog wants to show that it is dominate over another dog, it humps the everliving crap out of it. This is not a sexual act, it is to show that I am higher on the ladder than you. Another thing, I will speculate that the invent and first use of nuclear weapons have actually saved lives by being a deterant to widespread conflict.

The high end numbers put total number of human deaths in WWII at 70 million. The majority were killed between the Sept. 1939 - Aug. 1945 for an average of 11.6 million per year. Since then, the rate of human death by warfare is around 1 million per year. With nuclear weapons at our disposal, we are just now reaching 70 million with the 70 years of the Cold War, War on Terror, Middle East conflicts, and countless civil wars. As a whole, people have been deterred from widespread war because there are a couple of kids on the block with the bomb, and one for sure that everyone knows with the sack to use them.

I've never looked at it quite like that, but it could be viewed as a similar action. Though you forget that dropping a nuclear weapon causes an immense amount of harm, it kills tons of people and poisons the area for generations after the initial impact. A dog humping everything pretty much just harms the pride of the other dog, not completely wipes out the other dog, the other dog's domain and all other life in a large radius of the other dog.

Yes, dolphins have a survival instinct to hunt, mate, to survive. They have made adaptations, pack behavior and problem solving abilites that help ensure their survival. The differences is that they have no choice to improve their enviroment. Humans have used their intellengence, combined with their survival instinct to spread out, develop new and advanced methods for survival, to conquer strange enviroments. Dolphins are limited to the ocean. Humans have found ways to explore and live in every enviroment on earth and space.
