Re: Capture the Flag - March '13 Contest With a Big Prize
I have no control over that, reading what the arcade says for game mods.

it says GMT -4 for me. I am in EDT.
think contest was based on central so GMT-5 would be correct.
for future contests we definitely need a specific timezone picked...perhaps somce global participants we just use GMT...with no zone correction.

Yeah GMT is the easiest to use.

Re: Capture the Flag - March '13 Contest With a Big Prize
I prefer GMT/UTC over specific time zones because of daylight savings.
And for referance:
GMT -4 = AST
GMT -5 = EST
GMT -6 = CST (GMT -5 = CDT)
GMT -7 = MST
GMT -8 = PST

Re: Capture the Flag - March '13 Contest With a Big Prize
Dare I say UTC is better than GMT? Sort of like Greenwich time but with a bit of a Star Trekky flavour?
Even better is to have a universally accessible website that makes it clear what the 'time' is, such as a "Time Remaining" link (which MARP has for the current comp) or a website, such as Facts and current local time for UTC - Time.is
In any case, awesome show by TRB! It seems there has been an influx of very skilled gamers lately, pwning gamers like me.

Re: Capture the Flag - March '13 Contest With a Big Prize
I accidentally set the time zone to +6 instead of - 6. Sorry. Fixed.
TRB won by a long shot. Amazingly well played. Which prize would you like?

There was that time remaining thing before, unfortunately it was listed like: "402,438 seconds remain". It was annoying for someone like me who is horrible at math, but it was better than the random time zone thing.

Re: Capture the Flag - March '13 Contest With a Big Prize
Held onto most of my flags for a while. Doesn't really help when I stopped playing.
Could have taken Bucky 'o' Hare back, no doubt
Dinocity, my computer overheats before I could even beat my own score, but I could have taken it back maybe
Ikari III would be a bit trickier
Super EDF I could have extended if need be
Super Off Road was just a write off, hate the SNES version.

At least I found a really awsome game out of this, Photograph Boy, I think I'm going to try and beat it, but I haven't gotten past level 5, the museum has alot of projectiles.

This game proves itself to be both challenging and creative, by creating intricate obstacles and quirky moments to take pictures of.

Re: Capture the Flag - March '13 Contest With a Big Prize
I never heard of the game then either, besides I never really liked the TurboGrafix, and I only owned the TurboExpress handheld and the games I had were bad.
