Hair: Black, wavy (well, at the moment it's pretending to be straight and failing miserably) It's about shoulder length.
Skin colour: Light brown
Glasses: You can do me with or without them, since they tend to come on and off depending on if I want to look like a nerd or not.:rolleyes: Or if I actually need to look at something in the distance They're rectangular.

Two things. I can take out the bow if you want. I just thought it needed some color. Also if you want earrings I can add them but to be honest, you look better without them.

My little wanna-be blog goes on.

I do gardening on the side mainly because I enjoy it so much. I have a couple of customers that I go to once a month and take care of their lawn and gardens for a few hours. Mowing, weeding, fertilizing, planting and what not. I don't know, there's something really relaxing about it.

After getting all that done I helped my step-father clean up a house his ex-tenents left in shambles. I dislike the work but it always feels good to help other people. Must be the socialist in me. Anywho, the coolest part is his houses are all out in the sticks and come with a lot of land. So we get to pile up all the crap ex-tennents leave like tables and beds in one huge pile and watch the mother burn. I guess I'm one part pyro.

So here's yesterday's summary:
Woke up at 2am
Got to work at 3am
Got out of work at 11am
Took the wife and kid out to lunch.
Gardened for someone from 12pm to 4pm
Went home and made dinner
Went off to help my step-father at 5:30pm
Got home around 7pm
Went to bed around 9pm

Maybe not an exciting life, but its a full and happy one.

I'm in agreement with you Tenser. There is something about gardening that is very relaxing. On the back third of our acre my wife and I are starting a garden this year. Problem is that the land were on is full of *!@$% rocks (been told that it was a riverbed, long, long ago). I already busted my tiller once, snapped the bolts right off. We probably won't see anything this year, but it is very relaxing out there.

There's something to be said for the simple life.
I too enjoy yard work, (I have advanced degrees in Hort) I also like helping on the inlaws farm.

Ten I can't believe that you can get by on that little sleep.

:@: Hobbes: Yeah, I almost always average around 3 to 5 hours of sleep a night. I've been doing it for years and I've grown use to it.

We won our one and only scrimmage 11 to 9 yesterday. I don't think we'll be too bad this year. I also strapped the beast on the bike and we hung out at the library right after work. It was nice to spend some quality time with just the boy and I.

Yesterday my boss "volunteered" me to coach our team for the local business league softball season. On the positive side of things is I still get to play. Unfortunately I now have to deal with people bitching about their batting order and field position.

I didn't think it'd be bad until I had a fat man tell me he plays center or nothing at all and another guy who thinks that because he's good, he can blow off practice. Such a headache.

My position? Third baseman, batting 7th. It's all yard from here on out baby!

By your explanation, it was a fielder's choice, not an error. Unless you muffed the throw to first.

Nah, I didn't muff the throw. While it doesn't go down in the book as a big E we're counting bad infielding when it comes to the error kitty.

Also you can never assume a double play, so it's a fielders choice. No E for Ten, but the manager should chew him out, I hope you gave yourself a stern talking too when you got to the dugout.

I've got a lot of catching up to do.

Friday - Yeah, the game was a mess. We wouldn't have done nearly as bad if it wasn't for our poor out-fielding. Singles and fly-outs were turned into doubles and triples. That'll be the biggest thing we need to work on.

Saturday - Right after work I went and raked my mom's lawn. For one reason or another, it was never raked in Fall. Thirty-one bags of leaves in all. After that, the wife went to bingo so I stayed home with the boy, helped him with his homework for pre-school, and after we ate popcorn and watched cartoons together.

Sorry, you had problems in the outfield, if I was closer, I'd help ya out, unless it is an employee only team.

I start softball practice (I think it's a practice) on Thursday. The glove has been dusted off, the cleats have been shined up(not really, I did manage to get all the dry dirt off of them though), and the bat is at the ready. I know I'm starting in either Center or Left Field, just not sure where they are going to put me in the lineup. If I start stretching now, I might be ready physically.

Saturday continued -
We usually have poker night on Saturdays but a cousin of mine was in labor for most of the day, she's also the older sister of one of the other regs, so we called it off.

We did try to make up for it with some online poker in pogo.com. Pogo's an interesting gaming site that my wife's addicted to. It's also where I stole the whole badge idea from. If anyone's interested in playing some poker on there let me know, though you do have to pay for a membership there.

While playing poker online (after the boy was to bed) I received a call from my aunt saying there were complications during birth. He had dislocated his right shoulder during the birthing process and it was discovered that he had defecated in the amniotic sack and feces had entered his lungs. Sunday he was transported to Albany Medical Center which is a really amazing hospital that we're lucky to live within an hour from (Newsweek ranked it 23rd in the country). I got a final call Tuesday night saying that baby Jacobb was finally out of the woods and will hopefully be going home today or tomorrow.

Sunday - We were woken by a phone call from my sister-in-law Tammy. Apparently the prom is a short time away and she had five high school girls who needed to go to the mall and pick out shoes for their prom dresses. One of which was her own daughter while the other four were foreign exchange students (Tammy's the school librarian). The problem being she could only accommodate four in her small vehicle. We agreed to bring one of the girls in our car since we wanted to go to Home Depot, which is near the mall, anyways. So the day was consumed up mostly with driving. Forty-five minutes westward to Canajoharie where Tammy lives. Then about ninety minutes eastwards to Albany where the mall is, and then all back again. On the positive side, I did manage to grab the materials needed to repair the garden fencing.

We left around 10 a.m. and got back home around 5:30p.m., just in time to host some D&D at 6p.m.

Monday - The majority of the day (after work) was spent repairing sections of the welded wire garden fencing that was destroyed during the winter months. About 75 feet of it out of 300 feet needed to be replaced or mended. I was able to mend/replace about 2/3 of the damage before the sun started to set. Spent the rest of the time watering the lawn.

Tuesday - After work I finished mending/replacing the last 1/3 of the damaged fence. Still feeling energetic I tackled the basement and completely cleaned it out. Nice and productive day, good times.

There, now I'm all caught up.
