this is a topic where you post your recent outings in the arcade. the point of this is to maybe pique some more interest in the various games.
as it is now, users dont really have an easy way to know what crazy battles have been going on that they may want to jump in on.
also this is a place to rub your trophy stealing in other peoples faces, and also to make some epic excuses as to why you lost.

I just snagged super puzzle fighter 2 from tails last night, not gonna lie about it, the score was huge, nobodys getting that trophy EVER!

Good bump, this thread shouldn't be left to die.

I went a couple rounds with lestat on Retro Uprising - Arcade - Lethal Enforcers - Highscores last month. Getting the couple points needed to keep taking first place was becoming too time consuming so I gave up.

If all of my trophies were to be won by other members (it's all fair since anyone can win) I would be Ok, but it is kinda nice having them.
Obviously some gamers are better than others here at RU, and so they will always win the lion's share.

WHEN it comes to people 'stealing' trophies, I say if you want those trophies back, go get 'em.
Even being the lousy gamer I am managed to get a trophy back from the mighty Winnabagel last night.

Bottom line: If I can do it, (winning a trophy back) then any RU member can do it.
So when it comes to there being 'too many' of them, please consider the gamers like myself enjoying a small moment of glory in the lower ranks of RU gaming.
You competitive types will win them all eventually..

I got the Track & Field coin-op record today. Been trying for a while - loved the game as a small kid in the arcade I went to on holiday! Think it's a tough one to beat, sure someone will prove me wrong!
I have a record for Teddy Boy on the SMS which I think will be really tough to beat, think I've had it for almost to years now - maybe the game is an undiscovered gem as don't think there are many scores.

i tried several times to get that highscore today, i havent quite figured out the high jump yet but i managed 60,000+. im gonna try again though. your score is really good, i think the world record is around 97,000 and your sittin at 83,000.

I've been watching this banter back and forth and I'm impressed at BOTH of you guys. I thought I'd put up a strong score back at 67,000 but couldn't clear the 8.5 meter long jump.

I'm not sure how you guys are doing it, but I definitely feel bad for your keyboards! (or controllers) We're talking domestic abuse, here!

I think my score was quite lucky really. I always struggle with the second 100m dash. Always seem to be close but just miss out. The time I made it and got to the second long jump I absolutely nailed one on the board and 45 degrees. Got about 8m90 but never got anywhere near that since. Seems like you get a boost if you hit the board perfectly though. The second javelin though, 85m, never got anywhere near. I think about 78m is my best.

That's why Steven's score is so impressive, all the events second time are majorly tough.

in the long jump you get a big bonus to your speed if your in the very center of the white line, and a smaller bonus for being anywhere on the line.
my pain in the butt events are the javilin and the hammer throw.
button mashing after you throw the javilin makes it fly a little further f.y.i.
i have thrown over 85m's in javelin but not when it counted.
