Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike - Bought the PS2 version, started playing 7 match rounds on hardest difficulty. It's really intense and fun.

Final Fantasy 7 - Saw a complete copy of the original PS1 version for 35$, lowest price I'd ever seen, couldn't pass it up. So now I can finally see what all the fuss is about.
8 way non analog control makes me want to kill myself...
It's all right though. After playing so many RPGs that aren't Final Fantasy over the years, it feels really odd going back to the old ATB play style. I also can't "Action Command" to avoid every attack either so I actually have to manage the party health and stats. Even though the graphics are polygonal 3D, the overhead view makes it play exactly like older RPG games for previous systems.
Scenario is all right, Cloud isn't quite as emo as everyone makes him out to be.

I've been playing a little bit of The Witcher III the last few days. It's been pretty fun, but the controls are a little weird and I'm just now getting used to it.

I've been playing Guns of Icarus with Psimaster, DN and DNs friends. I gotta say it's the most fun I've had in a while. Unfortunately I got sick and can't play well atm, hard to focus, so I've been unable to keep the ball rolling.

I've also been playing Mass Effect 3 multiplayer, because my wife sometimes uses the PC. That "horde" mode never gets boring for me. It's a rush and people seem to use teamwork in just about every match, that's pretty rare. If any of you have a 360 you should try it before they close the servers down some day. It's probably cheap at gamestop. Totally worth it. If anyone wants to add me on Live send a PM I'm not on there very often and I'll miss it.

I'd heard that trope forever so I was expecting the same some sort of drama fest as with Squall in Final Fantasy 8. Cloud is pretty detached sometimes but he's his own mercenary at the start, but he gets emotionally invested pretty quickly. I think Square plays his angst a lot harder in other series he's spotted in (Kingdom Hearts!)

Can confirm he is 10x more emo in KH.

Ugh FF8. I went into that with high hopes and I came away hating most of the characters and the story(not to mention junctioning). I don't remember a lot of it anymore but I do remember thinking Squall was kinda emo and the story didn't convince me that it was justified. Or the character was just so lame I didn't care.

If I remember right he wasn't emo at all in his brief part in FFT. I remember him being more comic relief because he was so confused about where he was and why he was there.

I played through Spyro the Dragon on PS1 these past few days.

It isn't a bad game, but it has not aged well at all. Courses are pretty small and the music is this really lame sparkly audio sound that gets annoying and leaves me wanting more fulfilling audio. There are lots of different enemies but there is no variety on fighting them - you just flame or charge.

I have the sequel, I hope it holds up better.

Been playing Heroes of the Storm. It's free to play. I just started playing the other day. It's pretty fun. Seems less tryhard than LoL or Dota. If anyone wanted to play, I'm down

Dark Souls 2. I played through Dark Souls 1 on my old computer and played the entire thing at about 15 fps, if that much at times, so the ability to see and react accordingly is making this quite a bit more fun.
Also Planetside 2, a bit of Nosgoth, And Dragonball Xenoverse.

I played a bit of Rise of Incarnates lately too. Not bad at all. Sadly when it first came out you could only get new characters by buying them with real money and it got a lot of bad rep. They've since added buying them with in game currency, but seeing as how the game is practically dead that's hard to do.

I thought you got mad at Banished because you couldn't get achievements with mods?

I'm playing Gears of War 3 since it's free on Live and Crusader Kings 2 because it's awesome. Totally addicted.

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't most games disable achievements and high scores when you use mods? I know stuff like Civ and CK2 do that.
