Obama changes the 2nd amendment, making it illegal to own guns, and as a result crime rates rise.
We continue to have problems in Iraq.
The economy becomes worse as we get into the year, but begins to get better later on.
Gas prices rise slightly.
Letterman finally decides to make jokes about someone other then Bush. (even if he is an easy target)

I have got to throw this one out there. This is the year that Garth Brooks comes back out of retirement for the 3rd time.:P

Also, this year I predict that gas will go back up to $4 a gallon again just because the oil companies are greedy and it will send the economy into a Depression. Sorry to throw that one out there but I can see that one coming.

RATM broke up, and now three of their members are in the band Audioslave with the ex-singer from Sound Garden. I agree with you about Metallica their old stuff was good, but they've lost what made them great.
