The 3d on excitebike, absolutley blew my mind. Im more than impressed with nintendo. Its a must have for excitebike fans i think. I also snagged tetris party live, and im trying pokemon 3D now.

Pretty nifty. I like how it integrates with Club Nintendo.

Auto updates with 3D videos, demos, previews. There's still a lot more for me to explore.

I think its cool. I like how you can look at 3DS games that are in store now, or ones that are going to be released in the future, and the prices for those games too. I just cant wait for more virtual console to come out, and I wonder if they'll come out wit other systems. I think it would be cool if they came out with SNES games.

Thanks guys! That sounds sweet. If I can manage to be home long enough tonight, I will try to start the download.

Question, are all the virtual console games in 3D, or just select ones? I am happy to hear about Excitebike 3D.

virtual console games, none that they have now are in 3D. So far they have a very small selection though. Excitebikes 3D, I think its awsome, and it really shows off the 3D on the system.

All I had time to do was DL Excitebike, it's sweet. We should post some times.
The browser was pretty cool too, pretty quick and seems quite funtional, no youtube I don't think though.

@WB: VC is 2d games. Console Classics are old games with 3d added.

I'm surprised at how well the 3d effect for Excitebike is and that it remembers your best times.

Saw E3, Mario Kart, The new Mario, and I'm sold for sure. I've already been saving up but that's just great. On top of Ridge Racer & Samurai Warriors, seems like enough for me for now.

didn't see details before that and I never really care to. I don't get going crazy over any nintendo news or any gaming news really unless it's very specific titles, in which the ones I'm thinking of ar enever coming out apparently

Yeah but Mario Kart and a new Mario game is expected, they always rehash their big titles.

Like I said earlier, haven't thought much about the 3ds except when it was first released and recently. I kind of forgot it existed. The demos they showed were amazing. I kind of wish the mario kart series would take more of a diddy kong racing approach still though.

I love the 3D, but I also love how the 2D looks just like the original

So I did some simple math and I figure I should have a 3ds in 2-3 1/2 months. I'll need money for tax and a game or two so yeah. Kind of wish I could buy it in Alberta still and save myself 7% tax. Kind of a lot when you start getting into the hundreds for something :-/
5% tax > 12% tax.

I prefer 5% over 12% is what I'm saying obviously. Guess I should have made that more clear, sorry. Taxes are annoying here, compared to Alberta anyways. Bottom line.

A few things:

1) Konami has hinted that another MGS and a Castlevania are in early production for the 3DS.

2) You have until Tuesday the 14th to do a post play survey at Club Nintendo and earn some coins for those two free games.

3) If you buy and register LoZ: OoT3D on Club Nintendo within the first month of it's release you will receive the official OoT3D soundtrack for free.

I've already had my OoT preorder paid off so I'm all set. I don't really care about the soundtrack but hell, I'll bury it in my iPod. Free is free.

Thanks Ten. I didn't realize. With RU and owning most of the old NES carts, I don't really see the point in VC I guess. Console Classics on the other had are great!!!
