Error: Game Did Not Load

Hello,

whenever I try to load a game, any game, I get the black loading screen with sonic and after about a minute it comes up "Error: Game Did Not Load". The past week or so I haven't had any trouble. This just cropped up today. Any ideas on what's causing it or steps I could take to fix it?

This happens to me a lot here is what I do find your arcade ox folder (the mods should be able to tell you how) and delete everything in it then try a game. You will lose all your safes but games should work again. If you get a message saying can't delete cause in use restart your pc and try the delete again the folders that would not delete should go away now. To stop this from happening I have learned that after you close you web browser when you finishing playing a game on Retro wait a bit before shutting down your computer or this problem will reoccur. Hope this helps

OP's PC is never shut down.

It had nothing to do with computers. It means Original Poster. In this case, he's saying that Daed's PC never shut down.

Ah thanks for telling me what it means Chris. If he put it in hibernate or sleep it may have screwed up that way as well

I don't think he does that either. (I know him in real life and was the one who referred him to the site)

I had the same problem a few days ago with Qix-Coin Op but it worked the next day.

I had that same problem, but there is a solution. If you just type in %temp%\Low\arcadeox in the address bar and delete everything in the "arcadeox" folder (and only those in the "arcadeox" folder) afterwards, then the score mode and coin-op games should be up and running.
